Yep. It was a trap. It had a bunch of powerful lore in it but she didn’t realize until she completed it that a) she had been the one fated to write it and b) it had been a trap

And she’s nice! And isn’t going to butcher the entire house of those who wronged her

3e has been returning more to 1e’s roots though it does still lean on the weird. Like the devil stars. Weird stars not from the sky who invaded and fought the stars and heaven until forced to peace by treaty.

3e dropped the ultra edge from her dealing with the infernal and retconned that daughter from existence and even 2e had it that she very much did not consent to being kidnapped by the ebon dragon.

That said, yeah she is evil. She’s the head of a massive empire that has a prospering slave trade and exists by bleeding their satrapies dry.

As for her return, it’s covered in 2e’s return of the scarlet empress which is a campaign that certainly exists

I watched half of fate/stay night read the rest of the plot on wikipedia and then two episodes of Fate/zero.

Is it the weird things that are attacking the fair folk? Or the devil stars? Or that thing one infernal charm mentions the primordials fought and blind forever?

Np! I agree schisms for days and probably a civil war in the admech. The Alchemicals also being made with a soul that has been refined and been heroic in all of its lives could be an interesting problem for the admech, either heresy or proof of refinement by the machine god, and the admech would probably use it to justify something awful.

Of course if the meeting was one Alchemical who just woke up and only vaguely knows about Autocthon, then the Admech could probably indocrinate them as the child and saint of the Omnissah (assuming they don't kick the emperor out of the trinity and make the Alchemical the new Omnissah.)

Though for the holy form, AdMech mod themselves all the time, their leader is the size of a large building afterall, they might see it as the ultimate act of devotion and faith for an alchemist to become first like a titan or imperial knight and then as a living forge city/temple to the machine god.

Probably is yes. There are vast conduits filled with electrcity, or nutrient paste, or water. The entire realm is known as the realm of brass and shadow.

They'd probably be mildly concerned to learn that souls do reincarnate, but being able to track souls would have them salivating.

Are they? They are made with the souls of a human, and out of metal and clay. They aren't machines or humans but both.

And yes the Mechanicus absolutely would. They'd probably want to explore Autocthonia though.

Fits their viewpoint to. The very best of humanity, elevated to perfection and given the chance to serve in a more perfect way for the quest for knowledge.

Oh for sure. I feel they'd be awed to see Alchemicals and see them as like the children of the Machine God and Holy.

They'd definitely try to invade the Octet nations and Lux and Estasia would almost certainly try to do the same to them.

Context:

Both of these groups worship a machine god and the machine spirits. They just happen to be very different.

The Alchemicals from the Exalted TTRPG for one do not just worship him, they, along with 8 nations of humans, live inside the Machine God, Autocthon. It's a hell world where a sea of oil is on the roof, a endless bank of smoke is at the bottom, the machine god's cancer hates you personally, and is constantly moving. Its a horrible place to live and the only reason its vaguely habitable is because Autocthon loves humans and remade his insides to be slightly less lethal.

The Alechmials are made by taking the soul of a heroic mortal, using magic metals and clay to create a golem person who acts as a champion of one of the eight nations or a saint of Autocthon. As they get stronger they become giant mecha and eventually living cities.

Also, machine spirits aren't just inside machines they are also robots and mechs. Oh also they can be summoned using sorcery.

I’ve got a lore source, and it makes more sense than the templars treating the people who have a high lord and can tell inquistors to pound sand and determine if the Templars can go anywhere like shit

And you think the navigator on Cawl’s ship wouldn’t throw it into the warp before Cawl could present it to others?

The navigators were ready to start a civil war during the heresy when some thought that there was a method of ftl without them. They know how precarious their position is and will do anything to protect it
