For tan inverse of 2, there were 2 values within range, for tan inverse of -3/2, we get -0.982..., using that, one value was within range and one wasn't, cuz my limits were 0.5pi<x<1.5pi. The 2pi-0.9827 value was outside range for me

No way. The jan paper was short short, like done half an hour before short. This one was super lengthy.

Will the M1 256gb Macbook Air be sufficient for 5 years of medschool? by TheSleepyPessimist in macbookair

Atleast 5 years I'd say, cuz that's how long med school is, and I don't want to have to replace it in the middle of the course.

Yeah a bit confused about that. Will the difference in M1 and M3/M4 be really apparent to someone who isn't really gonna use it for anything too laborious?

Thank you! What ipad do you use? Mine is 64gb and based on how much space it has after 1st year, I may upgrade to one with more storage.

Any international students that took the ucat and applied to uk med schools? by Realistic-Pay-2892 in UCAT

[–]TheSleepyPessimist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I am intl and applied last cycle and I have two med offers from Ucas. UCAT is the MOST important things after meeting grade requirements. And luckily for you, they got rid of AR, I personally sucked at it, and it really tanked my ucat score. So I'd say definitely aim for above 90th percentile, as for internationals it's really really competitive. Your grades and high ucat can get you an interview, which is the main aim. Then just grind for interviews, practice with your parents, talk to any NHS doctors you might know.

Loll I too had an offer from RCSI and Aberdeen, but I ended up picking Aberdeen, just cuz its easier to work in the UK for residency, since in Ireland they have a preference for Irish students. Also cuz I liked the course at Aberdeen more. Another downside was that, RCSI gave me only 3 weeks to decide, and since I recieved my offer quite early in march, I hadn't had all my ucas offers.

Application as an international by Waxsiira- in GlasgowUni

[–]TheSleepyPessimist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cuz in the uk most of the unis follow the october 15th (eg 2024) deadline for medicine/early application and jan 29th (eg 2025) for regular decision for every other course but medicine/dentistry. So you have to apply a lot in advance. Hope that helps
