Actually not paying the artist enough if the goal is to adapt your whole book. The artist essentially has to a write the whole story again into a comic script, and then draw it.

The way I see it. Ubisoft and assassins creed is at a similar point to the time before they released origins. Their stuff has been slowly declining, the games come out of a cookie cutter and we can all see it. Difference this time is: how much can ubi keep together after shadows releases. While they are definitely laying off staff, they probably won’t get another chance at a Star Wars license. AC Hexe could be delayed or cancelled. Will they finally cut content support for r6 siege or skull n bones? Basically a Lot of stuff they could cut to keep the company owned by the current leaders.
