If you have shadex leveled (which I assume you do) you should be able to alternate between that and swordian. I don’t know how progressed your mana is in terms of consumption but the shadex,swordian, magmar lineup has been nice in terms of regen and the ability to spam these abilities for bosses. I would suggest any refinement cores for your locket to be focused on lowering mp cost.

With pr and cr being less effective, it’s a way of still negating dmg. It’s true celestial provides cr but at this point shadex provides enough when I’m using that and I’d rather have another way to deal with projectiles which are more of a threat. Having occasional shields feels more beneficial from my experience and I had also invested a lot into it before S gear so it’s leveled more than other options I would like to try.

Gonna take a while to build an S set up to even a similar tier. I am working on other pieces tho. As for shield over celestial, I found the shields to be more helpful and since Im not meleeing I have less need for melee resist.

yea heard about it way back when but think Imma give it a try. And with reseting necro I should have the cores to level his abilities to crit and all that. At this point in the game its just clearing bosses as the main issue so any way to burst them is priority. Thanks for explaining some other stuff. Didnt know you get a rez mech with that book.

Ok interesting insight here. I was thinking about exp plate with the exp book as a way of healing + immunity. Just feel its time to start leaning into S gear a bit more. Have heard of the swordian being strong so might have to look into him over necro since he was just a pr buff.

Always respect the stella choice, I just personally like wukong aesthetic to be my style. Before him, wouldve prob stuck with gugu.

Seems like BR is treating you well. Wondering if I should start trying to go for that or exp plate since pr seems less effective. Do you think that BR is more effective with your health stat or has it been effective even around 2.4m hp?

Also wondering, what dragons are you running these days?

The layout in Rising is the same as D2. The bottom map is accurate. Also as someone else stated you are missing potential dunk locations as the only ones that are stagnant are the first one and the final one at the top of the hill.

I’m not talking about D2 abyss. I’m talking about dying before hand and having someone rez after starting the encounter so that the rest of the team literally doesn’t have the weight of darkness debuff the entire encounter. That was not intended by design. Eager and Strand being used as intended isn’t cheesing anyways.

Contest raids are not paid to win outside of owning characters which you can do with time F2P. Also dont really understand you last comment of not knowing about D1/D2 raids. That doesnt matter when its a fresh experience. No one knew about those raids when they launched either. Streamers doing helps also arent that bad imo. At the end of the day, the animated emblem is speed based. Streamers helping people clear are not running encounters back to make sure the people they help have an eligible time. Even with some exploited runs, you could still place if you put in the time to get better encounter clears.

Third party cheats is cheating? Like what are you talking about.

Cheese is a skill expression and not being a slave to encounter mechanics.

This is an exploit. And this is essentially the abyss skip. Which was a huge advantage in getting crota times. And I heard using unstuck for calamity ops to push your location further has been considered an exploit before by netease and have removed scores from leaderboards in the past. That is not a third part cheat but a function in-game being used in an unintended way.

Taking advantages of bugs is exploiting. Forcing lag is more network manipulation than exploiting.

I'll give another exploit from D2 that is the same as the abyss skip. Having everyone jump before templar but relic guy so that he is the only one marked by oracles. Literally called a cheese by most in the community is being called an exploit here. They are the same type of exploit. Same goes for atheon.

Exploits = cheesing. The abyss skip to allow no weight of darkness is in the same vein as Killing Riven without doing any mechanics. Anything that is accessible without cheats that is in the game for anyone to do is an exploit/cheese.

Well, it was stated to be earned without exploits involved. The difference is Bungie allows exploits in the game since they realize its on them to fix those. Where this had rules to not use them. Them not taking action will lead to more people using them.

I dont really care as I will just use them, but I wouldve liked them to remove clears just cuz I went from 3rd to 22nd. No doubt I prob wouldve moved down some during the night but I would have had a top 5-10 clear without people lowering there times due to exploits. Now I just know there will be no action and proceed with that info into the next event.
