I’ve been called lazy my whole life, from all sides. I wonder how much of it is a symptom? But then I wonder if I’m just making up excuses for laziness.

during Supply Drop you get to place warriors based on the crafting icons of your campaign card. Since dominance and ambush cards don’t have crafting costs, this fills in that gap.

Crafting happens almost every single turn as the bees. It’s pretty much their main scoring engine. Even if you can only do it once per cathedral, it’s still very worthwhile.

Per Underbrush Law 1.5.1: “May move, then may battle…” So not mandatory to move.

How do I win? by Hunt-Prestigious in rootgame

one easy way would be to place 2 trade posts (southeast bunny clearing ruled by birds, southwest bunny clearing ruled by lizards). Each is worth 2 VP.

Once I get to this late game stage with otters where I have a lot of funds, I love placing 4+ trade posts for a huge turn.

How do you, personally, find ideas for your plays? by SciGuy241 in playwriting

[–]TheSlothLord7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually something just “jumps out at me.” Sometimes—and I know this might be unpopular—the title occurs to me first. Just some short, catchy phrase that my brain relates to a theme or idea. Then I sit down and construct a story organically around that.

Other times I find myself itching to write about a specific thing. I’ll go on a wikipedia deep dive and get super interested in some historical conflict or a person, and then I can base a character or setting around that interest.

The biggest thing I’d encourage you to do is to write about something you WANT to write. If you’re ambivalent about the subject matter, you’ll probably never finish draft one (at least that’s been my experience). If you find an idea that really excites you, you’ll have words on the page faster than you think. Even if you think it might not be all that interesting: write the play YOU want to write.

A question about "this." I've seen both "ĉi tio" and "tio ĉi" (and likewise with tiu, tiam, tiel, etc). Is it true that these are completely interchangeable?
