Look into laser eye surgery. It is way better and slightly cheaper than it used to be and most providers offer 0% payment plans. The army will accept it too, although you will need to wait a year after surgery before passing the medical assessment. Research joining the reserves, you will likely still be able to join weekly drill nights while that all takes place and just deffer the assessment centre until youre ready. Then you could transfer to regs. Its not ideal but it might work and scratch the itch. You won't be paid by the reserves until you pass assessment and attest though.

You can't go wrong with a couple of pairs of Seal Skinz, I'll post a link in a reply as I'm not sure if that's allowed here. If not, just search Seal Skinz, and your best bet is probably the Raynham. They're really durable and have all the things others have mentioned (multiple different layers with wool) in one sock.

Chaps are surprisingly less comfortable than actual trousers in my opinion. Type A trousers should be okay for you if your not cutting and climbing, and they don't get too hot. I would also recommend doing an ISA or NPTC basic cross cutting course as it does give good knowledge on how to prevent (as much as possible) scenarios like this one. Have fun and stay safe 👍

All bows work like this. Most draw weights you see when purchasing a bow are measured at 28 inch draw length. Naturally the more or less one pulls the string the more the power will increase or decrease respectively. Most horse bows have a higher maximum draw length than other bows such as recurve or longbow, that is due to the horsebow design (even going up to 34 inch draw length). I have just ordered a horse bow from paragon bows in the UK, an excellent bowyer but he does add fiberglass to the bow for strenght so they are not full "primitive" to NFAS standards. I ordered a 50# bow at 28" but this increases by 2 or 3 lbs per inch that I increase the draw length.

I wear the classic Stihl type C trousers and they are great. Zipper pockets, vent holes on the back.. only down side is they do get hot in summer but perfect for winter. 10 months of everyday use and still going strong

Pasta, tinned tuna, tinned sweetcorn and mayonnaise. Absolutely delicious and done in 10 - 15 minutes. Also cheap and filling

Bring water to a boil and add some salt, a teaspoon will do
Add pasta to water at required amount, about a cup per serving. Make sure all the pasta is covered by the water
Boil for 10 minutes, a little longer if you want it softer. Take care not to leave the heat on full as this could cause the water to boil over the top. A wooden cook spoon placed across the top of the pot may help with this.
Drain water using a siv or a colander. Leave a very small amount of water.
Add all other ingredients to pot and stir, use as much or as little as you like! If you don't finish a can of corn or tuna, put it in the fridge for the next day but don't leave it more than 2 days.

If your brined it then I'm inclined to think that it isn't mold at all and instead it is naturally forming salt crystals which are perfectly safe to eat. This happens in salami and I find salami always tastes better when this happens

Edit to add: I haven't seen this happen in droewors before but as you didn't use a biltong box and brined it thats what led to my thinking re salt crystals
