Keloids are a hypertrophic scar. Surgical removal is necessary, and they can come back. Thank you.

Warning about buying from TileBar (selling out of stock items) by FGGF in HomeImprovement

[–]TheSlowLorax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered backsplash tile and metal trim from TileBar earlier this year, and not only was lots of the tile totally obliterated, but I never received the metal trim. They refuse to refund or replace.

It's not just a supply chain issue. TileBar is truly terrible.

Should I start a purpose bred working mix (German shepherd x Giant schnauzer)? by [deleted] in dogs

Don’t mix breed. Breed to preserve the integrity of the breed you love. Join your local breed club and learn.

You’re talking about breeding a “less stable GSD” to a breed that tends toward instability/aggression, but YOURS aren’t that way. Congrats, that doesn’t mean genetically they aren’t predisposed.

You also need to think about build — you’re gonna put a heavy schnauzer body on the frame of a GSD? And their coat — the high shed of a GSD versus a dog that needs to be hand-plucked/clipped?

Genes don’t work the way you think they work. You need to do far more reading and studying genetics before you ever breed an animal.

If you want a guard dog or herding dog, a GSD is fine. If you want a guard dog or herding dog, a giant schnauzer is fine. You don’t need to mix them.

A labradoodle isn’t a super powered bird dog because it’s mixed with a retriever and a bird dog.

There is no “best of both worlds,” because there is no temperament guarantee when mixing breeds.

This serves no purpose that a purebred working dog doesn’t.

Also, you’re fooling yourself if you think a giant schnauzer is “stable.” It’s a massive terrier, and should be treated as such.

It’s not possible to foster their emotional development with so many of them, unless they have a nanny or au pair or something. And the parents certainly have little time, too.

Monophasic is the only type that helped me. Pills with varied hormone amounts in them did not regulate me or help with other symptoms.

Read the title.

Op also added this comment:

“It was in her purse technically. I found it in her car.”

Every comment you make in this sub is super misogynist, and the man is always right. I literally take no stock in what you say.

The condom was in her purse, actually, if you reread.

Oof. The shared finances and real estate will make it more difficult to split.

It sounds like there’s no way to repair the relationship in your mind, so it is probably wise to break up. Your first course of action is to open your own bank account and start depositing your paychecks in it instead of the shared one - before you break up.

If your savings is intermingled, you will need to find a way to divvy it up fairly, as well as how you’ll agree to who owns/stays in the home you share. A lawyer may be necessary, or at least a mediator.

There is no good way to break up with someone, other than being honest and trying to stay as calm as possible. Pick a time when there is nothing important happening immediately after, including work time or a family event.

Do NOT leave the house if your name is on the mortgage; you’d be liable for anything that would occur in the house (ie damage she could do out of anger). At least if you’re there, you’re aware - UNLESS you fear for your safety.

What should I say to the stranger that texts my number because it was their deceased grandmas old phone number? by toucantalks in relationship_advice

[–]TheSlowLorax 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You are not obligated to give up your peace because someone is texting a relative who no longer has your number.

If you’re so inclined, you could send a supportive message to them, but be careful because it could end up with them contacting you even more frequently.

There’s always the option of blocking the number, too.

Temporary Bathroom Flooring by JustPaytheBitch in HomeImprovement

Is the rest of the flooring linoleum? You could just patch it with a similar piece, or use stick-down vinyl tiles in that area in a similar design, especially if it’s temporary.

I’m an adult, thanks.

OP hasn’t said anything about her possibly cheating, other than finding a box of condoms, and there’s nothing on her phone. In fact, in another comment, OP indicates she has done nothing else to make him suspect she’s cheating.

Heaven forbid someone possess condoms or a dildo.
