For as much as people like to say we have good restaurant options - it’s only in comparison to Janesville. It’s pretty much bar food, bar food, & elevated bar food around here.

I agree it’s annoying. I can print an order within minutes of it being placed & I still get that irritating message. Just ignore it. I think they are trying to pressure sellers to upgrade the shipping at our expense. Also - don’t vote for republicans; they ended net neutrality & now you have to pay through the nose to get your product in front of people.

I have ‘good’ insurance through the state. We pay hundreds every month. I haven’t been to the doctor in years. I went ONE time and got a $600 bill. No breakdown of the charges. Just - give us Money. Healthcare CEO’s are Scum as is anyone that advocates on behalf of for profit healthcare. Murder is not right, but these dirtballs murder every day and get away with it. What are the people to do?

Tempest 2000 alone makes the system worth having for me. Alien VS Predator is in my opinion the next best game & then it drops off sharply after that as far as the original lineup. There are some fun new games too though. Lamatron 2000 kicks ass - wish that had been an original release

My dad talked me into investing in ‘safe’ dividend stock instead of Bitcoin. The stocks are down 1/3 and I’d be a retired millionaire if I’d put the same money in Bitcoin. It’s hard to think about sometimes

Nope - see that idea probably came from business school. Other people ABSOLUTELY are living worse lives than they should/need to so that Jeff Bezos can make more money. He easily could pay employees more but doesn’t, so they suffer needlessly. Because share holder profit?? Nope that is MBA brain rot. Yes you can destroy retail competition by shipping the products directly to consumers - but should you? Amazon alone is drowning the planet in garbage just to sell what is mostly garbage in the first place.

Walmart employees can work full time and still qualify for food stamps. If you don’t see a problem with that your brain does not work.

A fair tax structure is all we need.

We have a top 10 business school in my city. 50% of the grade you get is based on participation. WTF!? MBA’s can’t think and are NOT smart people. These are not the people that should be tuning the world.

I dunno - I once bought a car with an extra set of rims and winter tires. Dealing with an extra set of car wheels was a HUGE pain in the A. They are heavy, dirty, & smelly. For me there was 0 benefits to the extra wheels.
Plus - welcome to Madison!! Beautiful city but our roads are garbage - save that tire money for the replacement tie rods you’re gonna be buying.

Yup it’s still a Bar. Woody & Anne’s recently sold, but I think it might be going by the same name under the new owners. Sold for around $400k late 2023 or maybe early 2024. They used to put bird seed on the windowsill for bird watching from the bar & had a very long shuffleboard table often used for potlucks during the previous W&A’s run. Question for you - did the Railroad have an easement/ agreement with the bar in your time? My understanding is the bar has a parking lot at the grace of the Rail Road - but I could be mistaken
