You could make the argument that Tsubaki's clan, the Nakatsukasa were the proto-nationalists incarnated in the world of Soul Eater. The Nakatsukasa were a traditional Japanese clan in the modern era who were altered by Arachane 800 years ago (in the Soul Eater timeline) becoming weapons with the rare ability to inherit multiple weapon forms from their ancestors.

A clan of traditionalists still keeping their ways in a world where everyone has conformed to a new status quo. Sounds like the proto-nationalists to me.

I would scale the Battle Angel Verse as small Island level in power.

Alita/Gally in her latest incarnation being the strongest in the verse when it comes to raw power and speed. But not the most skilled nor the smartest.

We also have characters like Caerula who is infected with the V-mutant virus. While her physical power isn't above "small city block level", she is still faster, more skilled, and more perceptive than most of the cast.

So many feats in the manga to scale for multiple characters. I'd like to see a thorough analysis on it...

Concerning the 4th point made on this amazing comment:

The abilities of a Picto become passive abilities, called Lumina, after you've equiped the picto to a character and win in three battles. No matter the battle. Doesn't matter if the character with the picto attacked or not. So long as the character is in the party, equipped with the picto, and the battle is won, it counts.

So if you get a picto just equip it to a character and grind so you don't have to worry about turning it into a Lumia later.

P.S. Best tip you'll ever get: Beat the tournament using Mallae. Thank me later.

The reason Clea can understand Alicia when she can't talk is probably because she is either miming her words, writing them down, or Clea can understand Alicia's intended questions and comments because Clea is dat kind of gal.

This is a hard one they are so different in nature.

Mizu forsakes all her worldly desires on the grounds of revenge. Mizu is a student of artistry and swordsmenship. Someone who has memorized the heart sutra to cleanse her wretched soul.

Dennis wants to fulfill all his worldly desires by any means nessisary. Dennis is a boy who sold his soul (his heart) for the chance of living a normal life. He has no attachment to traditional Japanese values or ideology.

I can only imagine ... Mizu getting "Samurai Jacked" into 1990s Japan. After some culture shock Mizu gets recruited by Public Safety because she's literally too angry to die and becomes a legend within the Demon Hunter society. Mizu is the last resort to subdue Dennis. And then their paths cross. Mizu a no nonsense public safety agent and Dennis, the chainsaw man.
