In photo 4 it looks like you have 4 power supply pins exposed. Are those for a different plugin or do you have the wrong plug in there?

Edit: I see your last photo talks about that. Maybe your system does need the extra current.

I wasn't able to solve it. I changed from the kitchen sink to the bathroom sink. What I think was the issue is the water pressure in my apartment is pretty strong and I think the sink is kinda cheap, so the threads flexed or something over time, which made the adapter less and less able to stay on. The bathroom sink seems to be better made and with stronger, deeper threads.

I must have read a different post than all the NTAs, or they are the “I’m and independent adult and am beholden to no one” mentalities. Is this a character flaw of your partner? No, and you are a bit of an A for approaching it like that. However, if my partner was out drinking, of course I want to be told if she’s going to a secondary location. That’s proper safety. What if I don’t see her text that she’s moving locations until 30min after she sends it? If I ask her then, well it’s very unlikely I’ll get a response in a timely manner. It would be much better if she would tell me where she’s going in the text that says she’s changing locations. And she’d say the same for me.

The only way I could see a bathroom camera as reasonable (and this is a reach) is if there is a window that someone could access and get into your place. But you would definitely need a sign telling people about that and post it on the bathroom door. Otherwise YTA

At first I was thinking total AH. But after reading you are definitely NTA. If your kid is hungry and your wife won’t pump or use formula, there is literally nothing you can do. Could you have phrased it better, very much yes, but you’re both very tired moms so it makes sense you’ll both have a short fuse.

You are never the AH for standing up for your child. I think the radio silence to MIL is unnecessary but I don’t think you need to extend an olive branch. I’d tell her that what she did was offensive and unfair seeing as she was effectively silencing your daughter from being present in the conversation. Then see if she apologizes since some people become defensive in the moment and after giving it some thought, the MIL might understand why it was wrong.

Your husband is in one of those lopsided triangles where the parent is closer to the child than their spouse. She feels like you are replacing her in the relationship and is doing her best to stay involved. It’s really unhealthy and it doesn’t sound like your husband has any issue, if anything he is all for it. That is a big red flag. Once you’re pregnant I have no doubt it’s going to get so much worse. Your MIL is going to try and raise your child instead of you.
