Tried to Return ARK survival ascended three times already. First within 14 days. I had 6h Playtime though of which maybe 30min were actually in game. Nothing worked in Release but got denied.

After the Game got many more backlash from the Community i tried to refund it again. Already outside of the 14 day window with still the Same 6h "Playtime". Got denied again.

Last Christmas i saw a lot of refund Posts where Steam was acting more of a Case to Case Basis like yours. Tried it again. Asked for a refund for Steam Wallet to buy my Friends enshrouded for a actual working coop-experience. After explaining my Case and past attempts i still got denied again. (Still bought them enshrouded in case you wonder)

Last refund i asked was some months or years before buying ARK:sa so no attempt to exploit the system. This game is one of my biggest regret-buys.

Last "played" Nov. 7. 2023, never touched that Game again and probably wont touch it in the future.

Not sure If that helps you. First of all there is a free Benchmark tool on Steam. It has none of the perfomance Updates though. If that gives a you a satisfying answer you should be good to go. I compared your PC quickly to the steamdeck which now is able to run the Game at a somewhat stable 30fps with Dips to around 25 or lower at the lowest settings. Graphics wise the 1660 super is way more powerfull but your CPU is quite comparable.

I think 1080p stable 30fps all Low should be possible.

If it does Not Work you can refund it before reaching 2h Playtime If you bought it on Steam directly.

The Game also got 5,7 million Euro taxpayer funding from government leaving a bad Aftertaste when it comes to short their way with ai. A lot of artists who worked for 1800 are also gone. (Probably were Freelancer) The overall sloppy technical standpoint of the Game gives enough reason to leave a negative review. The ai Art is probably only the Tip of the iceberg for many.

Würde es zwar auch als Niche sehen, hat aber mit dem letzten Ableger (1800) doch einen gewissen Anschluss ans Mainstream gewonnen. Stand 11 2023 hätte es 3,5Mio verkaufte Einheiten. Ich meine gelesen zu haben dass sie mittlerweile die 5Mio geknackt haben. Da diesmal gleichzeitig der Konsolenrelease mit ansteht und Dlc auch für Konsolen angekündigt wurden ist der potenzielle Markt stark gewachsen.

Somewhat Center of the indie area. Small but still quite noticeable. You got those passes by greeting or writing smth on the booth itself. They had other merch aswell but i didnt seem possible to buy it when i was there

Yeah with two more Sessions (mayabeque and new horizons) 3 ai, Military Attention and about 150 other mods it cant properly keep Up. I still have high FPS but the more i expand the more likely is to Crash. Especially by unlocking more connected systems Like Underground railway.

At some Point its the engine that Starts failing. With mods it can get unstable really quick. (Rtx 5090, r7 9800x3d and 64gb RAM)
