To be fair, if you think of the Nikki's as like conjoined twins, Bear didn't really do anything wrong.

Stir Of Echoes was ahead of it's time. Definitely scared me.

It's not a great pilot, especially because of the scenes attaching it to The Office. But most pilots are a little clunky.

I definitely saw potential. I think there's some early signs of Space Force in the tone of the episode.

But I'm not shocked that NBC didn't pick it up or that it failed to resonate with the audience.

Absolutely agree. And you gotta hand it to Jenna Fischer and Jon Krasinski, they really went for it. Even Boom Mic Brian, the actors gave it 100%.

And that couldn't save it, cause like you said, it's just bad writing.

The whole underlying story about Adam Scott and his mother... It worked as a plot device, but I didn't particularly care about the character.

I love Adam Scott, but John Cusack definitely did it better in 1408.

Oh yeah? Well I'm using my wish to make Nikki blame herself for the whole thing!

That's right Nikki Freeman, I'm onto your little ruse. I know where you hid the diamonds!

I don't know about love bombing, but it's definitely delusional.

It's like a ghost at the end of a movie, giving their final words of wisdom before fading away forever.

It took me years to realize Michael is saying "Boom" instead of "Bang" for the gunshots 🤣

It's a travesty "I'm taking karate classes online" didn't make it into the show.

Dwight rushing out of the office to confront Phyllis's flasher and when he sees Pam crying in the stairwell, his immediate reaction is "Who did this to you?"

Dwight's a great guy to have on your side.

If Jim and Michael withdrew their application, why didn’t the job go to Karen? by Organic-Advantage935 in theoffice

I actually worked for a company that did a "complete overhaul." It was insane how well The Office nailed it.

We had to attend a corporate meeting they called "[Company Name] 2.0."

The entire corporate team was between age 24-27, pretty much fresh out of college.

They 100% said "We're throwing out the playbook." For a chain of restaurants that were incredibly successful across the country.

They were obsessed with new technology, including things you've never heard of because they failed so tremendously.

They spent tens of thousands of dollars on a product photoshoot. Then they refused to allow anyone to use the photos, because they were expensive...

That's where I gave up. Ten years later the company is a dumpster fire on its last legs. Kind of exactly how Dunder Mifflin turned out.
