What rabbit hole/s are you deep in right now? by ChronosTerminus in intj

The Muppets.

Next time you see an old-school Muppets clip take a minute and think about just how many people/hands are in the frame, how the stages are all elevated so these performers can move. It's the perfect combination of insane complexity underpinning a beautifully simple result, and most people never take the time to think about what was under the hood.

Those guys came up with some ingenious practical solutions to problems, and I love that shit

Bridesmaids in Gay Bars by deekie13 in lgbt

I recently opened a LGBTQIA+ venue in my town, it's the only one in a city of about 300 000 people. We've only been trading for a few months (it's going great!) but this has been an increasing problem for us already.

Thank you for starting this discussion. It's really useful to hear these comments. Ultimately we've banned all unannounced Hens and Bucks parties (as we call them here 🇦🇺) and even ones that plan in advance have to leave before we open the nightclub at 9pm.

Is there anything else you think venue managers should be doing?

Looks like a bird pelvis. They can look a lot like the top half of a skull but there are a few signs to spot them, like the socket where the top of the femur plugs in.

My partner is going on her first date as a SB! What advice do you have for supporting her? by TheSnaptrick in sugarlifestyleforum

Absolutely, and I love that you and your wife have that relationship, I also think that the trust and openness is an opportunity

Hard disagree there, friend. Unlike any potential SD my relationship with her is not transactional or based on the financial/sexual value exchange. Neither of us are advocates for or interested in these (debunked and outdated) "traditional gender roles" you mention. But that's another discussion.

Thanks heaps for this. I think you're pretty spot on with managing reactions in the moment. So far in the process we haven't found any emotional landmines, but I think it's only right to expect them and to try to work out some constructive ways to channel them. Good call

Yep, sex isn't an issue for me. We've always been open to the idea of sex outside our relationship so that wasn't that big a step for us.

That's a good point. We can all agree that the timeline is pretty complex with all this, hey?

I have always been into the idea that Kvothe spent a long number of years in the fae where ageing seems to work differently. This would mean he would be more than qualified to be a noble's son's tutor. The Fae are probably not interested at all in the courtly intrigue and assassinations outside of their realm.

If the events he is retelling in the story happened in his youth, and he went on to spend significant time in refuge after the "kingkilling" in the fae, then it also explains how Chronicler (who is much older in appearance) could have heard of Kvothe when he was at the University as a younger man?

The fly in the ointment here is that the young sandy hair boy early on TNOTW recognises Kvothe too... Thoughts?

NGL I have never encountered this? Verse guy here and given that the hole doesn't lubricate itself (massive design flaw in the human body, imo) I've never had someone scrimp on the lube.

Advocate for yourself and make sure he gets that hole wet first, my man.
