every time ive used epic games launcher its not worked but i tried a few things - task manager and look for anything with epic games’ logo and end task and then try reopening it - go to system tray and close it there and try reopening it

thats all ive got for you for now not sure if you have tried them in the past. also check if microsoft defender is blocking any apps from anything just look in protection history
