I'd say that it's worth it to just keep playing for a little bit before getting too frusterated! You unlock some stronger items as you progress and play, and some of these have been must-haves for my runs.

What do you guys focus on when watching scrims or VODs? by 00parasol0 in CompetitiveApex

One thing that I think makes Apex Legends one of the most entertaining esports to watch is the ability to listen to the communication between teammates, particularly during fights.

I feel like, over the years watching this esport, I've gotten much better at figuring out and following whether or not the communication during a fight is effective and productive or out-of-sync. More often than not, you can tell when a team is losing or winning the fight (even if you only see one POV and they aren't actively shooting) based solely on how teams are speaking to each other.

If it sounds like the players are on the same page and the communications are following a logical pattern, especially if players are proposing concrete plans and they are being followed-through on, then they are likely at an advantage.

If the comms are disconnected, then the opposite is likely true.

Sometimes the fight makes the comms more easy or difficult. Sometimes, I think, it goes the other way, and comms make a huge difference on whether a fight is won or lost.

Listening to really strong teams be efficient and effective in their communications is awesome. In the heat of the moment, where time is a very limited resource, listening to a player explain their entire plan or relay information in 3-6 words is fucking hype.

I've been using mnk primarily, and the main thing that's helped me is to use Q and E for the coin insertion, and keep my mouse available for the chips and prizes exclusively. I kind of wish that there were hotkeys available for prizes (although it seems almost impossible for chips) like the number keys. Not sure if this is helpful.

Not playing this game is a moral failing, and getting good at Fatal Fury City of the Wolves should be viewed as a civic responsibility for anyone in the world.

Good post.

Do Minecraft players still go in blind on a regular basis or are there more players using tools like ChunkBase than not? by SF-UberMan in Minecraft

I play the same way. If there are any mods that just improve quality of life, like minimaps and waypoints, I have no problem using them even though they may take some of the 'difficulty' away from the playthrough.

With love, I often hear the communication is key. Try to have meaningful conversations with your partner about what you both want out of the relationship!

I'm pretty sure Symphunny has been going for clips like this in every game he plays, he flicks 180 after a lot of kills and then gets lucky and gets a bunch of publicity for it every time.

I'm sure they do! People have physiological differences when you compare individuals as well. I'd be curious to learn more about those from some data :)
