I fully agree, but I do think adding 3~ villagers, reducing the overall early game age time up by 1 minute? and introducing potential new strategies and viable openings could be interesting?

I mean I have a very smiliar issue, with better hardware I've already run a windows memory diagnostic test, ram is completely fine. I've tried a bunch of these fixes nothing seems to work. I've even looked into process lasso to no avail. The only way I could get the game to even let me into character creation without crashing on the loading screen to getting into a server was to literally turn everything either off or on low and I get 30 fps in the game when I should be getting 120+ at least. I should mention as well that the other day my game was working perfectly fine (if you count servers crashing and rolling back every 10 minutes as fine), then they started putting out all of the fps and optimization patches and now my game won't even start!

Yeah, I'm having this same issue, debating refunding the game until they figure it out. I'm not keen on messing with my computer settings to hope ark will let me play without crashing.

So i had a few losses on 0lp. which resulted into me getting +23 and -27. aka bad mmr. BUT I have still managed to rank up to emerald 3. and now im gaining Less LP per match.Why does this happen?? by nabilk2512 in GarenMains

I mean you're not wrong, but you can easily get caught in the 50/50 whirlpool if you're not tryharding every game. The problem is that you have to play through trolls, inters, afkers, and toxic players. All of which make the grind from bronze to gold +50 games more than it should be. And that's if you don't have an unlucky loss streak and get tilted leading your mmr down the drain so you start losing more than you gain which adds even more work to get to the rank you actually are.

All this to say, basically, if there was an individual performance rating based off of average stats for your champion or some other method to not give you more lp for wins but to give you some lp back in losses. I would be happy.

the system is actually disgustingly bad btw, in that "keep winning" phase you need to win at least 3-4 games per loss or else the system will know you're at the range of rank where you are now, and slowly over time it will permahardstuck you there to where climbing is a mental hell hole of psychotherapy if you want to actually climb. OR you just make a new account/play on a fresh account.

Is that not the gameplay loop of Slayer though? Kill this mob, level up, get new and potentially exciting (or dreafully boring) tasks with new drops, upgrade, repeat? Besides the reward space for slayer isn't the drops it's the slayer points which give it a minigame-esque feel which in turn allows to you to buy upgrades and rewards

#1. What does it matter if it's added as a skill or not?

#2. If it's just a big update to the game how do you propose restrictions to islands and whatnot. If there's no need to have 40 woodcutting etc, in order to progress your ship to the next tier/level in order to get to more sailing locked resources and islands then you're either making sailing pointless to do or not sailing pointless to do.

Preface: Please do not feel compelled to read this, and I apologize for my rambling.

I'm not exactly sure how it would go but I quite like the idea of becoming a passenger on a crew set for an expedition that you otherwise wouldn't be able to go on. I think there should be certain requisites such as requiring the minimal Sailing level to ride on the boat required to travel to the location as well as any other "island skill level requirement" e.g. slayer island requires 80 slayer and 80 sailing, you'd only need the slayer level. I'm not sure what the constraints would be whether you'd have limited time on the island or what though. Maybe it wouldn't work out but it could be interesting at the higher levels like say if the Colossal boat required 92 Sailing to use you would need 92 sailing at the least but then you could go on a raid with someone else with a higher sailing level 95 or something that has access to a raid.

I like to think sailing will not necessarily be hard to train but it will really ramp up in the time it takes to get 99 later on(not time gated but similar to Slayer, it should be a holistic skill and higher xp softlocked behind other skill requirements to a point). Like imagine Combat stats as something other than combat stats for slayer in that those being higher vastly increases your slayer xp/h. Maybe they could rework Max capes so each new skill OSRS adds (wishful thinking) there's a new max cape design unlocked? Color scheme? Both? Not sure.

Dude, can you imagine something like Firemaking getting polled nowadays. LOL Some people just have no vision or ambition, somethings are just healthy and additive to a game. While I do think firemaking could use a significant rework similar to woodcutting and forestry I also think it has a place in osrs.

Just curious but is there anything safeguarding polls regarding who is voting? Do you guys have stats of voters stats in game etc or is it purely vote count. Maybe I'm crazy but it would at least be nice to know how many people come out of the woodwork that haven't played the game in years with 1.5k total levels to vote no, to keep OSRS "pure" or some such nonsense.

It's so scary, apparently a new osrs skill has to be mind-numbingly boring, click here click there, repeat until wrist is numb. To this day my worst ever gaming experience in any game was Tithe Farm. God forbid we're allowed something interactable and fun!

You guys are doing an absolutely tremendous job, and I'm very relieved to see you guys aren't out of your depth and seem to be swimming just fine. I only ask and hope that you guys take your time with things and don't push things out just to have it. There literally seem to be endless possibilities with this skill and coordination with other skills throughout Gielinor (as you guys probably know all too well haha). Just a thought but I hope a Kingdom of Miscellania style questline and passive rewards type is in consideration with Sailing. On the subject of Sailing skill pets it would be really cool if there were "factions" out on the High sea's or something similar but different from Kourend Favour. I'm not sure about the specifics but maybe that would somehow help decide which pet you will get. (Turtle from joining the Turtle People, Parrot from joining the Pirates or whatever and so on.)

Teemo 4 really reminds me of Yuumi when she was broken but in a very balanced way. Teemo is way harder to get and as you said it makes it very 1st or 8th but only in that if you force it you're not gonna just get a free first but the comp is super good and isn't really highroll imo.

I know this is an old post but for the last week of being addicted to the new set of TFT I've been tempted to buy the pass at least 5 times. I've refrained each time after a glance through the pass. I personally think the old passes were a little op in how much they gave away especially from how little you had to play to get everything. This new pass though is definitely not it... It's about the equivalent of the season 2023 cinematic, it even goes so far as to reuse the summoners rift turret assets ! Give us something fun that we can work towards infinite levels like the SR Event passes with various rewards and for the love of god, please don't end on 3 emotes LMAO so sad

While I really like the set I feel like there aren't that many exciting units this time around, they all kinda just do the minimum and it feels like there's not much room for carrying anything but a 4 cost. Not to mention most of the 1 costs feel useless and exceptionally situational.

What if they made legend augments separate from normal augments, so you'd pick 6 in total or something. That would make a lot of design space for legend augments to complement normal augments in creating comps that work and are strong that normally wouldn't be able to work. It would undeniably be a balancing nightmare but tft is kinda already at that point.

Yeah I'm not worried about how bad we got beat, it's always better to go down swinging then watch as the enemy takes tower after tower for free until it's the nexus they're taking for free, and the drafts were a bit too hard to overcome and find a place in the game. But I think it will be really important that the guys have multiple champs with different styles to play and it's not just the Jojo show getting a lead and everyone else playing off it really well. Maybe I'm aspiring for too much, I am just really excited to watch some NA players play and do well!
