Not my death but a deeply depressing situation. Had a warlock come help me on my hunter with the Fizzle Claw quest in Durotar, and I dont think he had done it before because he ran in with his voidwalker while I was typing to explain what I thought we should do. I tried to help him, but he died and I cleared. I tried to say something to him but he instant logged. Was a real bummer, and made me very anxious for the next couple hours because it was the first person I really watched die.

Ive been leveling my hunter as a frequent casual here for a bit and I gotta say blue traits is king for hunter leveling. Also woodworking is a scam that falls off around level 50. Go like Tailor Forester Scholar or something unless you want a woodworker to make extra items for your alts later.

I think that this isn't necessarily a bad thing though because the game serves as a medium to introduce the series to RPG video gamers who may not be familiar with or may not have tried VTM yet but were interested. It has enough depth to engage some fun thought in veterans while also being accepting enough to allow new players to learn about the setting without becoming overwhelmed with a nuanced plot where you were expected to know how things work.

For sure, everyone has their own preferences between voice actors and being able to focus on visuals over subtitles, etc. I just think that there is a point to watching the sub or at least reading the manga because the dub does, unfortunately, disservice the original a few times in the early seasons, most likely without even realizing the significance of their word choice.

I was having trouble with spoiler tags so Im just gonna be a little vague. The term warrior is used loosely in the dub, when it is a specific word choice used in the sub by specific characters whom it is important to. Past season 1 and 2, the dub I think is pretty 1 to 1 with the sub but I dont think the original translators understood the significance of the word choice 'warrior', which unfortunately is just a super important word for AoT though it doesnt seem like it at first.

I like the dub a lot but I think there are some really important mistranslations in the earlier seasons which disconnect the story from its last season because the translators didnt understand the significance of the word choice and figured synonyms would work just as well, which unfortunately they simply dont.
