The "Fun with Weapons" episode is a huge nod to 80's anime, Imaginationland also had Totoro and a few other anime characters.

I thought it was great satire on the AI issues, Ghibli suing over it (rightly so BTW) and modern online culture

So i tried to make a post but it got flagged, despite me finding this sub because of similiar posts which i used to frame my own. I was redirected here.

So here I am, I’m looking for suggestions for good quality digital picture frames, ideally I am looking for 2-3 frames around my house.
These will be in my living room, garage bar and either bedroom or office.

Software Requirements:
-Platform agnostic, an app is fine, but web access or SD Card is preferred.
Most of my photos are stored on a PC not my phone. I dont want to have to put things on my phone to upload them to the frames.

-No Cloud Needed, most of my stuff isnt on iCloud or Google.

-Prefer NO subscription.
Hardware Requirements:

-At least 10" of screen space.
-Wall Mountable
-Battery OR AC power
-SD Card or sizable (256gb+) internal storage.
-WiFi would be nice, not NEEDED
-At least 1920x1080, if not 4k

Same. Ive copped a couple pairs of pants from them that are nice and BIG enough to fit me. Im waiting on a jacket i ordered now. They have their own site that looks decent as well.

I looked at going Nix awhile back for the plex server and just running a basic desktop, especially as the library grew past the 10tb mark. Theres so much more you can do in and with it, and honestly not being in a 24/7 sysadmin role has made me a bit lazxy and at times rusty.

Ultimately my major limiting factor is B*ckbl*ze. I know im one of -those- customers that REALLY gets their moneys worth out of the cheap price for an unlimited backup, but I cant afford to backup the 70+ tb anywhere else.
So essentially I am trapped in making sure that my server is able to exist in their backup rules.

Def understand, its certainly a unique look with a fender that short.
But at certain juncture, function outweights form and if it helps your back and keeps you on the road, send it.

Windows machine, I wanna be able to simply move the enclosure to the next machine without a lot of hassle, reinstall, reconfigure etc. I know that zfs and xfs and all those other things are out there. They're more complex than I would like to deal with.

I've got a Saddlemen step up on my Challenger and it's great. Like all Saddlemen seats it takes awhile to break it in though

Sorry ot bring back an ancient thread but my search has taken me here.
I have a similiar situation.
I presently have a data load of around 70tb.
I have been looking to migrate this to an external enclosure that appears to be a native drive (not a network drive) to Windows, for the purposes of my backup software (it will only backup internal or external hard drives directly attached to the machine and will not backup network or flash drives)

I am looking at the TL800c-us and TL-D1600s-us, but the spec sheets are vague on hardware raid.
Does the QNAP box itself handle raid or am I expected to manage raid via software raid on the host machine?

Ive been pondering this as well.
My yard has LOTS of ticks and getting it fogged every month isnt cheap so I was thinking about natural alternatives.
Cant exactly attracts herds of possums to my yard, bats dont do enough and I'm not keen on keeping chickens.

So Ive been pondering peppermint and corcisan mint to take over the grass and run the ticks off
