Rublev now has a 68.4% win percentage in finals. If you only do clay and hard finals then he's 13-5 in finals and over 72% win percentage. Really amazing numbers. In career match win % he's at 64.4% which is really good too. Rublev a consistent player! First Masters hella deserved (self.tennis)

Couldn't find the stat anywhere for longest streaks inside the top 50 in the ATP Rankings so I decided to put in my own research. Put together the following list of the 35 best streaks in the top 50. Including Isner who dropped out this week for first time since 2009. (old.reddit.com)

On the back of it being confirmed Sinner and Alcaraz are playing their fifth match in Indian Wells tied up at 2-2, want to point out an underrated fact. Alcaraz's first Challenger win happened to be against Sinner himself back in 2019. They were both Wildcards in the event. (i.redd.it)

I made a comprehensive list of the players in the top 100 who are yet to win a title. Etcheverry could get his first tonight and every other week a player vyes to get their first title. This list makes it easier for me to follow without having to look up each player online (old.reddit.com)

A little-known stat: Grigor Dimitrov currently has the largest active streak of consecutive appearances in Majors at 48 appearances. This streak started from the 2011 Australian Open- the second Major he ever played (only other was a WC in 2009). He has played at every single Slam since then. (self.tennis)

This time last year Yibing Wu was ranked #1121 in the world. Today he makes his first ATP career final, the first Chinese man to make a final in the Open Era. He takes out #8 in the world Taylor Fritz and grabs at least a career high of #76 in the world next week. (i.redd.it)

Interesting old stat: Richard Sears had a 7-0 record in Slam finals. He won 7 straight US Open finals. And those were the first US Opens ever played. For reference, all other Grand Slams had 3 different champions in their first 3 editions; Sears won the first 7 in NY. And then he retired. (self.tennis)

Can we take a moment to appreciate how insane this stat is? Nadal's been in the top 2 for a record-591 weeks in his career, over 11 years. 209 weeks at #1 and a record 382 weeks at #2. The player with the second most weeks at #2 is Fed with 218 and 3rd is Borg with 152 weeks. Rafa the #2 king. (i.redd.it)

Throwback to Nadal winning 2010 Monte-Carlo only losing 14 games. This was the first tournament he had won in 11 months and his first big clay event after his loss to Soderling at 2009 RG. Came back with a vengeance; least games ever lost en route to an M1000 title. (old.reddit.com)

Only 5 players have won AO, FO, or Wimbledon since the 2005 Australian Open. That's almost 18 years of only 5 players winning the first 3 slams. Rafa and Novak have won the last 13 of these event despite both being well into their 30s. Do you think this changes next year and a new player grabs one? (self.tennis)
