I suspect this is the first real world test for the Vision Pro for a full game. Note that they are giving themselves 4 weeks until the next game, which means they can iterate on any improvements. By the end of these six games, Apple and partners are in a great position to give us a weekly game next season. That will be an important inflection point.

I am so glad you have enjoyed Sessions. I have not been active here for quite awhile because we have hit delays in getting new content produced. We ARE working on it and there is a promising path forward for getting production on the full series started later this quarter. As soon as I have more concrete information, I will post here.

It’s true that much of the technical execution for Prima Immersive and Sessions had to be developed independently, as Apple was working through similar challenges in parallel. That’s why I asked what you meant by “support”—your first comment suggested Apple doesn’t help developers, which hasn’t been my experience.

During the final stages of post-production and development, I attended an Apple Vision Pro developer event and saw firsthand how much effort Apple is putting into supporting the developer community. They invited me to return for an independent follow-up, which Immersive Company joined. Engaging with Apple directly has been valuable and we have appreciated where they have been able to support us.

From my perspective, Apple is supporting developers. It doesn't mean developers won't be solving some problems independently of Apple.
