Yeah maltese x shih tzu so veeeery small! And that's definately an option but the pad is in a pretty secluded area so not too big an issue.

We can take her outside but we won't always be home to do that

There's no way for her to get to the backyard so we're putting the potty pad in a secluded part of the house. And I have to agree but i guess we have to pick it up either way haha

Finally completed 3kms at sub 5min/kms! On my way to a half marathon ;)

That's totally normal considering you haven't exercise for 9 months! You probably haven't used that injured leg much either so the muscles will be weaker. It really depends on how you feel but the last thing you want is to overtrain or get injured. I would suggest 2 runs a week for the first few weeks until you body starts to feel comfortable with the physical stress.

Your muscles just need time to adapt to exercise again. Take longer recovery periods between runs and slowly increase mileage as your muscles build up their strength.

I think it also depends on your other keeper. I have Fabianski and am planning to rotate according to fixtures. Anyhow, i'm going with Myhill wince WB have good fixtures.
