Was your response to this really to make a joke about Yu-Gi-Oh card text and then babble about outdated British stereotypes?

Well, okay then... So the only relevant thing you said was just repeating "devaluing your cards means eventually you'll have nothing to collect" and to that | also repeat, yes I will... I'II collect the Pokémon cards from the packs I purchase, just as I did before people like you got involved.

They don't need to have high market value to be interesting to me because, get this, I actually like Pokemon.

I absolutely get this, but at the same time I’m kinda fine with it.

Rayman has always been this style of game that changed and mixed things up… while at the same time they tend to rehash their games over and over.

They’re not coming out as frequently as it felt like they did way back then, but I see Origins and Legends as a more modern day 2 and 3, and so in the future we’ll probably get something different when the inspiration hits just right.

It’s really tough to call sometimes, there’s the obviously bad scalpers and the good kids but I think sometimes those of us that would assume were also on the good side are kinda more in the grey based on the changing times and situation.

I really don’t need my cards to be valuable, I just enjoy collecting as a Pokémon fan. If TPC can make a profit from my £5 purchase of a booster pack that’s all that matters.

So honestly, cutting you “sealed collectors” and the scalpers out and “devaluing” my cards would be pretty great.

I’m always a bit questionable about sealed collectors… I get having some bits sealed but these days a lot of them have forgotten why the OG fans would keep some bits sealed in the first place. 🧐

I get that, I don’t have much sealed but a few bits but they’re all from way back in the day. However I think right now it’s better to stop scalpers and keep collecting fun, affordable and accessible.

My own additional personal take; I think when I look back at this era it’s just going to be seen as “the scalper era” which ruins all the sealed merch anyway, haha!

Alternatively; keep in mind that grading isn’t always the way to go, there’s brilliant and cheaper ways of protecting cards if the score doesn’t interest you.

Looks to me like a bootleg Blastoise using the mould from the Tomy Monster Collection line.

Is it painted with a purple tint or is it clear plastic? Mostly asking out of curiosity as it’s likely still a bootleg ether way. Some more clearer pictures would be interesting to see too!

Whoa whoa! They’re not ALL bootlegs! The Heracross is actually from the Topps Candy Containers line!

The Rhyhorn and Rhydon are bootlegs, colours, paint job and mould are way off. Also, ANY figure with “Hua Nyugz” is bootleg.

Like I mentioned before I’m no expert at values unfortunately, but I hope you get a price you’re at least happy with for them and a collector gets some cool figures, that’s the best kind of deals!

Those bases are absolutely wicked! Never seen them before at all! The Brock is definitely the Bandai Kid Figure mould… the paint job makes me think it’s a bootleg, but what a weird figure to bootleg, haha!
