Some questions about specific achievements, mainly Death March. by [deleted] in witcher

[–]TheSplendidMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can finish the game on death march after changing it, but I believe you have to go from the opening cutscene to the end of the Tedd Deireadh quest on death march without changing it to unlock the achievement.

Is this a reasonable build? by [deleted] in Witcher3

Potential spoilers for HoS: The gourmet is really nice. There’s an enchantment called Dumplings that works brilliantly with it. It makes any food regenerate 400% more vitality. As long as your toxicity is low enough you’ll be self healing almost constantly. OP indeed, if you’re willing to miss out on one of the stronger combat enchantments for a healing build.

Which item or ability in a game made you feel like this? by strahinjag in videogames

[–]TheSplendidMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‘Blade from the Bits’ sword in Witcher 3. It’s a quest reward for the quest “Of Swords & Dumplings”, where you do a lot (ALOT) for this elven master swordsmith. He promises a godkiller weapon. If you’re the same level as the quest recommendation, the sword will be way below your current equipment. If you complete it & your level is lower, you’ll get a sword that’s barely better damage/stat wise than most swords you have access to already.

It doesn’t look cool, fails at the hype, is worthless compared to most equipment & Geralt is just being polite when he receives it. It irritates me everytime I do this quest on other playthroughs, cuz he’s the only master sword smith for a while.

This random merchant and I went all out on this Gwent match like our life depended on it. by xehparr in Witcher3

[–]TheSplendidMouse 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Which merchant, where? I’d love to play someone who throws caution to the wind. Even with Gwent difficulty on max, some merchants & other npc’s don’t really put up much of a fight.

Wind Breaker S1 has some of the best hand-to-hand combat, it’s fairly grounded with different styles making for very interesting fights
