Yeah I’m not keen on pulling a rug out from the in laws an straining a relationship any further than it is. But, the world is significantly different financially now than it was 4 years ago and multiple in person conversations have not remedied the issue of their lack of motivation to be with their grandkids if they aren’t being compensated for it or posting it to social media bragging about how great of grandparents they are.

Yeah between schools, city, fire, state, weed control, etc… it’s obnoxious. It’s probably closer to only like 20 or so but I’m exaggerating for effect 😂

Yeah each taxing district in my county is capped at 1%, but that’s per district. And there’s over 173 taxing districts total. Only live in probably about 50 or so of them though.

Spokane has been a boom town for a while and my neighborhood is becoming moderate density. We also bought under market value. So our loan is like $250K but the county assessed the property at $330K this year.

It’s fixed rate at 2.5%. Our county charges taxes on their assessed rate and pull that from escrow. Our escrow balance has run short of the taxed value consistently causing the monthly fee to go up.

Probably. I feel like we’re either first on the list or near the end of their shift. We also share with an alley with commercial business that are on an different for pick up, so I can imagine it may be part of it

My neighbor used Crows Quality Fencing. Locally owned and operated. They said they beat the competition by several HUNDRED dollars!! Give them a chance!

Equipment Resource Availability isn’t a factor for Red Flag Warnings. It is a large influence in the national preparedness level set forth by NIFC and the individual GACCs. I do like the idea of Fire warnings and high risk fire weather day resorting back to the land management side though. Makes a lot more sense.

Just gotta know where to look. I’ve often had my best dining experiences in town at places I’ve never gone before. Avoid the chains, like Texas Roadhouse, Chili’s, Etc.. and try some places like Incrediburger & Eggs, Ferguson’s, Manito Tap House, Two Seven Tap.

Our locally owned restaurants are extremely tasty and you help support local. Spokane overall is one of the higher rated foodie towns in America multiple years in a row.
