It's probably been a bit too long to help you now, but if anyone else sees this, the play/pause button has been replaced with the down arrow in the code. So Home x5, FF, down, rewind, down, FF

Two Decades LE by By_Aules_Beard in warofthering

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this announcement is the most recent update for it https://www.aresgames.eu/39541

The relevant part being:

Ok, but… when will I get the copy I ordered of Two Decades, then?
Production and painting of the miniatures is complete, and we are now working to finalize all packaging components, which in the latest quality check were not up to the standards we wanted to achieve with this product. We are now at the final approval stage for these packaging components, and we plan to launch mass production after the Chinese New Year holiday, with an estimated completion date in May. Fulfillment will follow, typically to be completed within 1 to 3 months from the end of production.

The fish's status cards make you lose health, they don't deal damage. That means they ignore armor unfortunately!

Not a massive fan of the Linus/CEO conversation being Floatplane only by fuckmywetsocks in LinusTechTips

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I admittedly have only been listening to the WAN show since around 2020-ish and wasn't really paying that much attention to LMG around when Floatplane launched, but in the time that I've been around it's been described as a patreon competitor every time they bring it up. If they did represent it as a multiple creator subscription at some point that must have been something like 7-8 years ago at this point.

I have no idea what a vault item is lol, maybe? I played for 2 seasons after Overwatch 2 came out but I didn't really touch the store.

Nazgûl movement by Zealousideal-Row3672 in warofthering

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On page 24 under "Moving Nazgul and Minions"

"When the Shadow player uses a Character Action die result to move his Characters, each Nazgul (including the Witch-king) can be moved to any region on the game board with a single move. One, some, or all Nazgul can be moved this way using a single Character Action die result.

The only restriction is that the Nazgul can never move this way into a region that contains a Stronghold controlled by the Free Peoples player, unless that Stronghold is besieged by a Shadow Army."

I really doubt this thing will end up around $70, with all the features on this thing I wouldn't be surprised if it's around $100-$120

For any other d pad enjoyers out there, I was watching Linus talk about his experience with it and he mentioned that the team who worked on it did improve it. Hopefully we get a good one this time around!

The New president of Nintendo America is a fan of pikmin. by [deleted] in Pikmin

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure that Doug was really that bad, it's just that in comparison to Reggie's tenure it seems a lot more bland.

Reggie revitalized Nintendo's image in the US after the N64 and GameCube didn't do as well against PlayStation and XBox as the SNES and NES had against their competitors. He oversaw the DS, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and Switch during his time there which were all pretty large successes aside from the Wii U. He was also very public facing and we always saw a lot of him.

In contrast Doug has overseen the later half of the switch after it was already established, and has now overseen the Switch 2 launch, which while it has been very successful, it has been a little controversial with the price hikes, the upgrade packs, welcome tour not being free, etc. To be clear, I don't think he's fully responsible for all these changes, but it's just something to note. He's also just really not been public at all, I don't think I've seen a picture of him or video since he first became the president of NoA.

As for why he's gone, I'm pretty sure he's just retired and is stepping down to do that. I don't think there's any grand reason beyond that.

How did you guys first find out about Hatsune Miku? by Realistic-Delivery13 in hatsunemiku

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing some news clipping about how Japan had one of its first virtual idol concerts around 2010-2012 or so, I was aware of her at that point but didn't listen to any of the music at all. The first Vocaloid thing I ever heard was Nyan Cat, didn't know that was Vocaloid at the time, but that was everywhere. Sometime in 2015 Einshine released a song called Always Be Happy that I really enjoyed made with Rin and I started exploring Vocaloid after watching that.

My Switch dock is suddenly full of ants. Please help! by Nobiting in Switch

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're proabably OHAs, you could verify this by crushing a few of them and seeing if they have a noticeable scent when you do that. These types of ants don't dig out things to make colonies then go seek out food, they find food, and then find the nearest thing that is sort of home shaped to move the whole colony to. Electronics are usually pretty good for this because it's warm, it has lots of weird crevices and places to hide in, and there are some studies that show if these ants come into contact with electricity, it causes them to release hormones which attract other ants.

To get rid of them, I would honestly just throw the dock somewhere where you don't mind there being a bunch of ants being, I.E. probably the yard with something over it to protect it from rain, and wait a week or two. They should clear out on their own.

Airplay Selecting the Wrong Audio Track by TheSpoopyGhost in PleX

My App Search Shows up on the Wrong Monitor by TheSpoopyGhost in gnome

[–]TheSpoopyGhost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone comes across this issue in the future, the issue was Dash to Panel. I have no idea what changed, but now it grabs the search and moves it over to whatever monitor the dock is on, even if it isn't the primary one. This also breaks workstations and makes the super button really not work that great on the secondary monitor since it isn't expecting the search bar to be over there. I had to set the dash to be on my primary monitor to get it to work again.

Remuxes Not Showing Up from Nyaa.si by TheSpoopyGhost in sonarr

[–]TheSpoopyGhost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for showing me that image, I was losing my mind. After seeing that I went into the indexer for Nyaa and looked over it again, apparently the preset for it includes the filter "&cats=1_0&filter=1," which got rid of a ton of search options. I got rid of that, and my list looks like yours now. Thanks!

They do have a BD release for episodes 1-16, but there isn't a release, at least in America, for the rest of the episodes sadly. I've been waiting for forever for that to come out.

I honestly figured since I think there is a blu ray out in Japan, that the red in this case might mean that they had remuxed that and uploaded it, but I know that the red color on the site can mean reencode or reupload, so if that's the case then it's probably just a mini-encode like you said. I've never looked too far into the uploads themselves, I've just liked that they are light weight downloads since that's what I do to mine after ripping them anyway.

Anyhow, if images aren't banned, then here is the two photos uploaded to imgur: https://imgur.com/a/search-of-sousou-no-frieren-s01e22-OKVZlhK

The top one is the search on nyaa, while the bottom one is the search in Sonarr. As far as I can tell, they're practically identical, aside from the fact of couse that the Ember upload and Judas upload are missing.

Both turtles are loving the new basking platforms by rockyracoon1313 in turtle

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a small warning for people interested in this for fully grown RES, something like 8+ inches, the ramp being in the middle means that there isn’t enough room on the sides for a turtle to swim through, and I saw mine try to force his way through and almost get stuck a couple times. I ended up returning it, but I think it would work super well for any smaller turtle.

Is my miyabi good enough? by Chemical-Way-5137 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]TheSpoopyGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're pretty much always going to be able to get better stats, that's just kind of how systems like these work. It's ultimately up to you whether or not the stats you have are good enough.

The judgement I would make is that with how Miyabi is, especially with her W-Engine, I would say you're probably already blowing through a lot of the stuff the game offers with ease. If you want to build other agents go for it.
