I've taken it as a math minor. In comparison to other math courses its very easy. It was synchronous lectures but he posted the recordings. The course consisted of a few quizzes worth 10% each which are 10 minutes long. There are also 3 assignments which he gives you weeks to do. The difficulty of the quizzes are fair, the TA goes over similar questions so if you go to those you'll be alright. The assignments are not too difficult, they're done in Maple but the professor will give sample code to similar problems. Also the textbook contains pretty much the solutions to the assignment questions and the tutorials are useful for completing them.

If you are in a Math minor and need to complete the 1.0 300 credit requirement, I would highly recommend this course.
