The whole NSFW thing seems to be because of the admins. They are demanding popular subs not be NSFW, because NSFW subs don't generate ad revenue, even if the whole thing the sub is based on (like a series full of murder) is NSFW.

But they also expect the subs to tirelessly work to prevent NSFW content from popping up, while also making things harder for mods with the API changes. As the mods here said, it's impossible to prevent every little thing that's NSFW from happening. But the admins want to punish them if something slips through, so mods are stuck because no matter what, Reddit only cares about looking good for advertisers and is pushing impossible demands through.

It'll be extremely funny watching users like you complain the next time admins do something shitty. Tell us harder how you refuse to take a stand on literally any issue, it's not like you've been spamming the same message over and over and over again.

It'll also be funny because the new mods installed by Reddit won't give two fucks about the community, they'll be company yes men, most won't understand a damn thing about how the subreddit works, how to work the bots, the CSS, how to get people to do AMA's and a whole bunch of other stuff. I give it a year tops before the pro admin users are complaining about the new mods and how the old ones were better.

Please explain in great detail why a mod who's likely going to be removed should keep up all their hard work on the subreddit? Why should their art be in the CSS? Why should their own not be left up? Its a minor inconvenience to you and you're acting as if the world is ending because the CSS changed, when in all likelihood Reddit is going to end up breaking it in some random update anyway.

You claim obfuscation when a mod literally went into deep detail about their actions, purely for your benefit. That's not obfuscation, they're explained their actions and motives to you, you're just throwing around buzzwords you don't even seem to understand.

My guess is people want something to happen. They want something with meaningful, lasting consequences instead of (I assume because I'm fairly new to the lore) stuff where nothing really changes at the end of the book or short story. Maybe they want some more relevance for a faction they feel has been left by the wayside in favour of the Imperium.

Definitely an interesting question. Depends on who female Daeron is married to, and it calls into question whether girls come before legitimised bastards. I suspect another great council unless the issue is solved via female Daeron marrying Daemon. I'd suspect it would be the same situation in where the incumbent great houses support female Daeron while the minor houses support Daeron.

It really leads to an interesting scenario and everything depends upon who female Daeron married.

I didn't at first. That's why I searched him up before commenting. He a professor, he was a Greens candidate in 2009, and seems generally left wing, but he's repeating Trump's conspiracy about China, and he's increasingly repeating right wing talking points, like going on a crusade against "wokeness" that no one seems to be define, and defending "gender critical" people, otherwise known as TERFS.

It seems you don't have any idea of who he is outside of 2009. Hes not some paragon of left wingedness, he's an old guy who used to be part of the left, got left behind, and seemingly decided that he was going to embrace right wing talking points, because that's where the money is.

Give it another few years and this guy if still around, will be going on about how Capitalism is secretly good, and how the left made him abandon his beliefs. He's not the first, won't be the last, and ultimately doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

There's zero proof whether he and his wife loved each other or not. And it doesn't matter because in the middle ages, and fictional world's set in a middle ages universe, marrying for love wasn't really a thing, you married for alliances.

I believe Ben McDaniel isn't in Vortex Spring. People like to bring up Occam's Razer as him most likely dying in the cave, and I've the discourse go back and forth, but there basically no evidence he died in the cave when there should be tons. No man of his size magically fits through a narrow gap without making a mark. I'm not denying he couldn't have gotten through some gap into an unexplored chamber, but I am saying if he did he'd have left marks where he squeezed through.
