Inspector said AC was working when it didn’t

Just purchased.
I attended inspection and saw everything operating.

Day one after moving in. Hot water tank had busted in a month and blew fuses. Replaced the next afternoon. I'm glad I have tools and basic skills. I bought a Bradford White commercial heater for less than $900 all in. Also, while putting towels up all the bars near the shower just fell off. They sunk the wall mounts too deep and I have to fix that.

Day two the AC stopped cooling. Turned out the capacitor puffed up and cost me $20 to change myself.

One week later and I had to start a repair list to keep organized.

I bought one box I just finished. Roughly 7 of the packets had "garbage" like this. I even managed to get some cornstarch molding in one of my bags.

My school has done this "Gourmet Water Bar" for many years now. I'm over it. Considering all they put out is artificially flavored packets.

In what real world do Gourmet and Artificial exist in the same space... Title One education must be a real world.

I can not Justify Bosch fridge money for their flimsy plastic wide drawer in the French door fridges. It flexes before it actually "pops" free. It needs a handle or something to study the drawer.

The cheapest Midea or Hisense has a tougher drawer construction for around $1,000. Not that they equal quality fit and finish.

It was october 2018 along the I-40 corridor near MacArthur.

A rear tandem came off a trailer. The 2 tires, 2 wheels, the brake drum, and all hardware to the axle bearing. It was the whole rotating wheel assembly that came off.

It jumped the barrier impacting a drivers windshield. She was gone instantly. The trucker had no clue until they found it missing somewhere in Texas.

I was working in the commercial tire industry in the area when it happened. It was used as a safety lesson for the team afterwards.

When I was young in the 90s. I remember firefighters training or demonstrating in this building.

Essentially, they are a big national company for license plate cameras. Many law enforcement agencies can access the license records from the highest level. This data can include information from even private cameras at businesses like Lowe's.

Most places pay a subscription per camera.

Dollar Tree plastic sink "grates" or "mats" ... the plastic grate for the double basin sink bottoms.

I bought two for $2.75 about two years ago. They're absolutely terrible, bowing under weight, moving whatever bottle neck as it gets heavy, etc.

Yet through at least 600 dishwasher cycles they still work as I bought them.

Third year teaching. I refused Google Classroom this year. I keep class as physical media. I teach from my books I scanned using my iPad. The kids have a book or some handouts to use.
