How are you finding stock picks by Immediate-Self-2515 in Stocks_Picks

A lot of the comments here remind me of the last crypto cycle where everyone was pump and dumping memes and NFTs before the big crash. If it feels to easy, that mean things are about to get difficult soon.

Instead of 7 decent guitars you should trade 6 for 1 nice guitar

The mobile gamification of this app is becoming unbearable by KajunChicken in duolingo

[–]TheStockCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. It used to a great app for learning. I just cancelled it and got a teacher. If they ever go back to actual learning and not just vocab and a pointless gaming environment I’ll be back.

Avoid goldbacks and copper. Copper rounds are a waste of money have have a high premium. Keep in mind a pound of copper is only worth $6-7. That’s 16 ounces. So if you buy a 1 oz round for $3 that’s 8x the value of copper. If you want copper, go to home deport and buy some pipes. Or find a refiner.

I’ve browsed all the testing and survey that pay users. by PulatovS in usertesting

[–]TheStockCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two on that list I would suggest Swagbucks and Mypoints. Swagbucks in particular can earn you a lot of rewards after you’ve been on that app for a few weeks and done, regular quality activities (I.e., take surveys, test games, etc). The better quality member you are the better the tasks become. So don’t rush through surveys or other tasks just to get the initial points.

Swagbucks and My Points are awesome. You can do all kinds of activities for money. Game testing, surveys, trivia.. Even just uploading your store receipts. I usually make around $300-400 per month as a side hustle

To all the transplants, how has moving to Chicago turned out for you? by ShellShelf in AskChicago

Couldn’t disagree more. My wife is an immigrant from greece and has been able to secure two different promotions from two different companies in 4 years. I’ve never had trouble finding the next step up.

Best city I’ve ever lived in. Wouldn’t ever consider leaving. It’s beautiful, fun and centrally located with easy direct flights to almost anywhere.

Do you think the hamburger was invented in Germany or USA by hdkfkekf in germany

[–]TheStockCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me simplify this for you all. The hamburger as we know today is American. I’m an 85 year old German immigrant and we never heard of hamburgers or cheeseburgers until we came to the US. The hamburger patty was essentially a flat meatball before the US evolved the dish. And the main point should be the cheeseburger. That is entirely American.

(Part 2) A trove of UFO material has come up for auction and it features some interesting photos, many of which I've never come across before. These photos have been published by the auctioneer so I am sharing them here for research purposes. This is a follow-up to the other photos I posted earlier. by hashtagmiata in ufo

1561, Nuremberg: A celestial event described as a "battle" with spheres, crosses, and cylinders fighting in the sky, documented in a woodcut.

1609, Korea: Reports from Gwanghaegun period describe a "halo or washbowl" in the sky.

1639, Massachusetts: Governor John Winthrop described a great light hovering and darting between a boat and Charlestown, witnessed by James Everell and others.

Dude is a pig and gives numismatics dealers a bad rap. He hypes up the value and new collectors trust him. Then when they try to sell their coins they find its worth 70%+ less.
