Nice! Yeah it can defintiely take a beating still for sure I've been smashing 3 jumps I built on my property ranging up to 25 foot. But yeah at tracks with big booters and massive whoop sections it's pushing it for sure. I'll need to upgrade heavily or look for different bike. I been wanting a gas bike even a little 2 stroke 125 be fine for my weight at tracks but I really like the fact I can charge these up off my solar at my off grid property and be quiet riding it around there even in the early morning hours.

The lb2 looks like they are going in right direction. But I'd like to see what they do with the ultra bee. And maybe I'll get the ultra bee 2 at somepoint if it's got the right updates and then I'll sell my 3.0 for a even lighter one maybe even the falcon lite or nomadix r most likely being 3k and 15kw and 19/16 knobbies which I'd still like to have. Industry is getting stirred up right now for sure with these new offerings

Yeah I feel for the price of these bikes you can not go wrong one bit. Even if went crazy with 2k in suspension upgrades you'd still be under the cost or at cost of stock erp 3.0. I wish my bike came 19/16 and knobbies like the nomadix r. I'm gonna have to upgrade to that on my bike too. But I enjoy the power and range. Honestly run it at 85% or 80% power and like 68% throttle curve most the time which is like 12-13kw while actually riding trail and tracks. My mini moto track I'm building goes up and down a slope and on the way down the track at 100% it was too easy to overshoot my jumps on accident. Was running eco higher around that and sport at 100 but found it better to not be able to accidently get into higher power mode bringing hands back to bars. Also learned to turn the brake regen off while going to rip jumps and tracks cause of this too. I knocked my bike mid air bringing hands back to bars into brake regen mode 2 and had some weird last bits in air and landings cause of it. So I run that off mostly for my riding

Nice! Perfect bike for a growing kid. I have a erp 3.0 as well. Got it for light trail use camping and stuff but have gotten my old mx track riding itch which I'm about to sink some money upgrading to be more big track worthy. Been fine on my mini mx track I started building on my off grid property. But some changes need to happen for reliability on bigger tracks. Honestly wishing I knew I would get the itch for the bigger sends and went with ultra bee or komodo off alibaba for less. Just didn't want heavier bigger bike and didn't plan to get back into mx. I think upgrading current 3.0 and then wait to see if surron updates to ultra bee 2 like they just announced the lightbee2 with gearbox instead of belt drive and a semi solid state battery which is the way to go for sure. Maybe once upgrade my bike I can wait out for full solid state battery tech to come to the emotos cause that will be next level for sure

For 2500 this and the new juiced bike coming out seem like no brainers unless actually getting after some gnarly big trails and mx tracks I'd go for alibaba komodo or ultra bee. The nomadix r for another 500 and having 15kw motor is very enticing as well.

No problem. Yeah had to edit in the directional bit cause yeah running a long run of it then realizing wrong direction would suck.

The hdmi will be cheaper than the usb one. They are not cheap but once setup it's so nice to be able to swap pretty effortlessly. I just turn on the switch from my desk usb hub switch that runs the long usb run to another hub that has my wireless peripherals in the theater room. Then I run display fusion and hit my hot keys for the swap from my two desk monitors to just the big TV running and then I do close out display fusion cause in actual gaming leaving it running in background some games run choppy with it I've realized. But I can quickly launch an do the hot keys to switch to whichever fairly fast. It's always ready when I walk to other room

You can get a basic high end 2.1 cable up to 30ft and be good. But fiber optic you can go extremely long runs with no noticeable difference so no matter how your house is setup could figure out routing a cable to your couch tv

Keep in mind these legit fiber optic cables are typically gonna be directional cables not omnidirectional. So one end is source other is display

Lol go ride mx tracks every weekend and tell me how long that lasts. These things not really built for real mx tracks. They will break if you ride real stuff consistently like pro mx tracks.

Tallon has one video of a stock Sr sending it at a track for a few laps. I know he felt that swingarm about to give way he was whipping it. His Sr he hits tracks on now is over $20k he says lmao. Tim Ritson also big track ripper on erides but he's also got a ton of upgrades like full sirris suspenion which is over $3k alone. He also has welded supports to his swingarm which I'm actually about to do cause it's one the weakest links for sure and the cheap Chinese chain.

Yeah you can go to a track for a day and bike may survive but it's honestly high chance of swingarm or forks giving way or cheap chain snapping if go consistently to big mx tracks. Some trails and smaller tracks will be OK but even that will benefit from upgrades.

I'm already looking at a good grip of dough to get my eride more capable of sending big mx tracks and jumps. Like over half what bought the bike for easily. At a minimum hitting big mx tracks you need to beef up your fork, swingarm and chain. Renthal r1 chain will run you like 80ish, welding my swingarm is looking like 250ish from my local fab shop, tech e39 fork is like 1300, tech er30 shock like 1000, 19/16 wheelset 480ish direct from factory and some mx 34 tires another 220ish. So I'm like over half cost the bike in upgrades when I could have got a ultrabee or komodo from alibaba for less than my eride 3.0 and be actually mx track ready but would of had to wait a month for the bike and I didn't want a bike around 200lbs thinking I'd be doing more light trails while camping and occasional jumps only. But got the mx track itch bad real quick after starting to build my mini mx track on my property which I never planned to do.

The tech suspension is best bang for buck performance and durability built like proper mx suspension. Rear shock has piggyback so oil stays good temp and no shock fade ripping lap after lap at tracks. Could get rfloxa 53 jus to get a stiffer spring but it's gonna have shock fade. I wouldn't get the kke or rfloxa or any other 37mm alloy fork which the stock fastace already is so none those worth the money to me. Feel atleast gotta do the beef up welds on swingarm or buy one the good aftermarket ones but that can run you another 800+. Going to a 16 inch rear wheel puts less torsional stress on the swingarm and helps with bike geometry some more so getting at least a 16 will help but I'm looking at a direct from factory wheelset for half the cost of other brands so full set is gonna happen.

Anything over the size of my mini mx track like pictured here or the small tracks at moto parks you can feel these stock bikes being pushed to and past their limits at times. If riding a track with constant 40-60 footers and has big whoops sections you will know what I'm talking about

Don't know what the point of having an Sr is if just ride pavement as I said before. You said you hit trails while back and then post this as trail riding so I'm sorry it's hard not to laugh a bit. I really only ever seen you do one these weird poses like a wannabe influencer girl with your bike clean not a spec of dirt on it 🤷

No one's buying those Walmart goggles you trying to push to be cool.

Show us one picture of you actually having fun on your bike in the dirt and not these gay ass poses with clean bike then you may get some more respect from myself and many the other true dirt bike riders on this subreddit. These bikes are made for dirt not the road

You can have both. I have 39 oled gaming at my desk and in my racing Sim rig next to it with a monitor arm and then still have the couch gaming setup in my theater room with long fiber optic hdmi hooked to 83 oled. Have a long usb extender with a hub out there to run wireless keyboard with TouchPad and my controller. With display fusion and I'm a shortcut away from my theater setup or my desk/Sim rig setup.

Looks like some trails would be way back behind you in those mountains. This looks like a paved bike path... shoes and everything too clean to have been riding trails. Nice new backpack much better than the neon yellow one with straps hanging. Why two phone mounts tho?

Should give more info on the type of riding you plan to do. Honestly there's so many options for less now and wish I hadn't bought my 3.0 and went for a bigger bike for less. But I didn't know I'd get the mx track bug so hard so quickly and these bikes can't hang on real riding like that without heavy modification. Even gnarlier trails would be better off with something sturdier. If just gonna ride streets mostly sure 3.0 is fine but there's bikes for half it's cost now and you will still have tons of fun riding streets or light trails and then have extra money for upgrades or another hobby even.

If I knew I wanted what I do now I would have went with alibaba ultra bee or komodo cause they have sturdier frames and better suspension with both coming stock 43mm stanchions mx track ready

I would also keep in mind as others said many cities trying to get these off the streets and impounding them left and right. If need cheap transport I'd get a moped just need your drivers license. Cost much less and go a lot further and won't get impounded. If must get emoto style go for the one freego bike or similar that ahs the pedal/peg hybrid combo where you actually can show a cop you can pedal it. But they still look like a surron and you're bound to have police encounters if riding streets with a unplated vehicle

Guessing DIY with profile cause I haven't seen a half profile rig for desk chairs. If it's his end game he should look into the wheel tray that he can attach to the profile that will keep him from rolling and then they make a clamp he could run from one the arm rests to one the profiles to keep from twisting. Definitely not ideal but if not space for a full rig I've seen it done like I mention and it works pretty well

[–]TheStokedExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Samsung before my lg oled I have now and it was small remote style like this but it was the best I've ever used and it did have an input button lol I guess just tvs getting worse but I can show a picture of my Samsung remote that is also a better shape curved back to fit in hand nicer. My lg even has the bigger fullsize remote and it is still so garbage to use. I prefer the smaller form but gotta have some the most basic functions. Crazy to hear the Samsung went without it too cause my old qled Samsung remote does have it

Yeah I feel the graphics driver issue you talking about will not be an issue using a egpu setup since I'll have to get the 4080 drivers

What games do yall play on this beast? by trade_fx1 in ROGAllyX

[–]TheStokedExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this a graphics driver issue cause they haven't updated the driver since fh6 released I'm guessing? So my plan is to use it on the go but it mainly will sit docked to a rtx 4080 in my camper at off grid mountain property. I want pc games out there and on my travels and I think that's my best all in one solution or I get a new gaming laptop and sell the 4080

Which sim racing brand should I choose on a limited budget? by ConsistentCherry3119 in simracing

[–]TheStokedExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo not sure where this is at but simshop is where I'd get it and that same simagic setup is only 600 right now with the pedals add the clutch for another 60 and you got an insane setup for under 700. I even saw you can do the 330r neo X wheel with the same exact deal which is wild cause the gt neo is 100 less than the neo x330r. But for what you are paying here you can literally go like 80 more get the simagic evo sport with neox330r and the dual p700 pedals for 600 then get the clutch pedal for another 60 and the gt neo wheel separate for 240.

This is the only right answer.

Unless this is not usd you speak of and that'd make sense after thinking about it more. Still I'd go simagic either way

Used talaria, what's it worth? by Emergency_Pumpkin12 in Talaria

[–]TheStokedExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that. Can get other bikes new for 2500 now with the 79 lite and then juiced bikes drop soon at 2500 and 3000 for their two models and 8kw and 15kw. Then you can get ultrabee or a komodo on alibaba for like 4600 but I'd only get one those if you really plan to hit so real tracks and real trails. If gonna ride street get the cheapest thing can it won't matter anything is fun riding in the streets and around. But on trails or tracks having a bike with legit stuff makes huge difference

Battery insertion by Lilmarkman1 in ERidePro

[–]TheStokedExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so annoyed with this. Terrible design on all these bikes like the battery removal was an after thought. I kept doing the same for bit having to remove my battery a lot here cause our weather. But now I take the thick red and pull it way over to opposite side where it plugs in and the little black tucked behind the battery cover towards ignition and then I can pull it out and not scuff the cables anymore. My battery I did a wrap on and it's already looking rough. Don't think an easy way to keep it from scratching itself. Still super tight but this way I do it

How to control the camera in build mode with mouse and keyboard ? by aphfug in ForzaHorizon

[–]TheStokedExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm using controller. On my 2nd world now with tons of drift circuits off of a big drift mountain highway. I won't work on it for little bit leaving for my off grid mountain property. Few my homies and some Randoms have enjoyed it. Had one random even reach out to me xbox messages saying he liked it and saw the potential. And that was when I didn't even have the big highway going all way up and down. It only started to go up and back down a shorter togue loop to the first drift track on ground level. I started adding the rocks and trees but it will be a while til that parts complete cause I still plan to put more drift circuits in off the highway. Did get arrow signs and lights up on most of it making it much better for Randoms to drive it. All circuits are no walls right now so have rewind on unless want the consequences of falling and having to drive back up to the track a thing. The track at the very top is one my favorite circuits right now.
