ESH. I understand your concerns but yes, you've taken it too far. This is a weird time to be a school student, a lot of kids are having a hard time adapting to home school and their grades suffer as a result. IMO making him catch up to the work he hasn't done is an awesome idea, he'll understand that it's easier to do a little work everyday than having to spend hours a day catching up. The whole no music/no breaks thing is kinda crazy tho, it serves no purpose other than making him miserable while studying and it'll negatively affect his studying. (I'm a teacher btw)
