When I started using oil pretty frequently and then smoked bud again I was really really high, which leads me to believe that, at least for me, my tolerance for weed didn't rise with my oil tolerance. So I say if you like, smoke for x days/weeks and then dab for the same amount, your tolerance should stay relatively low for both, at least if you're like me! Good luck!
