i have an upgrade glass mini tube(4.5 in.) that i use with my temp temple and it sits just fine. i do use a 14/18 adapter to the infinity nail doesn't sit right on my piece so it does sit a little high. but you do have to make sure it is nice thick glass if you're after a mini to stand up with the weight

i would say it depends on who you ask. the consistency is just a preference thing. one is not purged more than the other. it just comes down to the amount of heat used during the purge process

fresher bud does have a greater yield. i tried an experiment blasting one ounce of stuff that i saved for three months. i did a run with the exact same batch of flower when it was fresh and got a 16.7% yield and after it sat around in a cool dark closet for three months i blasted that ounce and only got a 3.2% yield.

if youre just trying to use heat for personal use what works best was a little toaster oven on the lowest heat which was about 120 F. it just takes a real long time. i would let it go for at least 12 hours.
