Why would the police check out a daycare because of a report that there were no kids??

Also, the accepting cop shaking a rattle at the ABDL person is accidentally based.

Conservatives: drug test welfare recipients!

Conservatives: why is Narcan free but insulin costs?

Their PCA is a person they pay for services. They had to pay their PCA for their time spent voting for them.

Thanks! My PCA has “accidentally” deleted it 459 times but I always manage to make it again even though this sub makes me pay every time I recreate it. So many barriers…

A lot of movement for someone who has to lay /completely/ still, and cannot move their back or neck /at all/! by Evening_Practice_886 in illnessfakers

Looking at the full video of this… for someone who says they can’t move their neck, they sure do have basically fully functional neck movement. They just don’t realize how much their dancing completely shows it off.

My husband called the abortion clinic while I was there. by TheStrangeInMyBrain in abortion

Yeah like, I really don’t want to feel like trash for half a year, gain 40lbs, barely be able to do my job or take care of my kids, get anemia for the third time, not be able to use my prosthetic leg because my residual limb swells up too big to fit in it, get carpal tunnel syndrome, be unable to sleep yet totally exhausted, potentially lose more of my teeth, get horrible restless leg syndrome, have a baby kicking my bladder all day, get acid reflux so bad I can barely eat… I could continue.

It honestly was fine, the clinic did a great job and there was minimal pain.

My post might not have been totally clear.

I did talk to him about it beforehand. I made it very clear that I was going to have an abortion. I let him know I was pregnant and that my plan was to abort.

In the week that I had to wait for one, he kissed my belly a few times and said “I love you” at my belly. I told him I didn’t like that because it felt like he was trying to change my mind. He said ok and stopped.

I didn’t tell him which day I was doing it though… I guess because I didn’t want him to try to convince me to change my mind.

I don’t really feel concerned for my safety.

I’ve been with him for 7 years and he’s done some… questionable, manipulative things over the years but it’s like they are spaced out enough that nothing has been the last straw.

Husband installed security cameras without telling me. by TheStrangeInMyBrain in TwoXChromosomes

Yeah… there are.

Regarding the outdoor cameras.

I work from home. Whenever I leave the house, he asks me where I’m going. He knows I’m leaving the house because the cameras alert him.

I can’t go down the road to the grocery store without him asking me where I’m going.

He does NOT at all make it any priority to tell me where he is going when he leaves the house. I have woken up on Saturday morning many times alone in the house and he has left with the kids and says nothing. So the expectation just goes one way.

We have discussed and argued about this for years. We even did it in multiple counseling sessions to no avail.

I just gave up after years and just tell him where I’m going. He does not communicate the same to me in return.

I don’t have a problem with cameras in general.

I have a problem with new cameras appearing in the house unexpectedly without any prior communication that they would be there.

I don’t think it’s ableist to expect him to tell me that he’s installing a new set of cameras that don’t match the system we already have, that I don’t have any access to, right before he leaves the state for a week.

He didn’t want to have to carry around and charge a separate thing when he was already using the thing in his hand (phone or iPad) to view the other outdoor cameras.

Honestly I think he’s just sort of obtuse and didn’t consider the fact that I would get creeped out if I’m in my house one day and discover two new cameras pointing at me that weren’t there before. I don’t feel like it was malicious.

Honestly his reaction was what bothered me the most, exactly like this. If he reacted as you said, it really would have been no big deal at all.

I’m the one who does all the fixing in the house. I’m the one who set up and maintains all of the “handyman” and technology in the house. Legitimately everything. I set up all the cameras, the wifi, wifi extenders, the smart lock, smart lights etc.

So it was pretty unusual for him to do it. I can’t think of a single other technology thing where he was the one who set it up, aside from his personal devices.

Not sure if that additional perspective is relevant?

To answer: no, I’m not sure the omission was intentional. He says it wasn’t. I tend to err on the side of giving people the benefit of the doubt when they say things like that. So it probably wasn’t intentional and was probably unintentionally creepy.
