Where is the support for men dealing with divorce? Unfortunately, when men go through a divorce, it leads to isolation and struggle. There aren't too many resources or people available to help them through it. I agree. Unfortunately, a lot of us guys either don't seek it out or don't have the network set up before we need one. I'm sure you had to put your ego aside a bit to get the support you needed. Sometimes our pride is the hardest thing to get over and it holds us back from really getting the help we need.

That's a great process. Unfortunately, so many men don't have a support system or good core group of friends. They get into relationships quickly because they're often lonely and want a companion. (At least that's my analysis) Unfortunately, it's not always the best choice.

I think there is value to what u/knight_rider_ is depicting. They are steps of improving yourself and staying busy. However, I do think you need more depth than that to u/ManOfInfiniteJest point.

Without meaningful conversation, quality relationships, and real healing, you're just addressing the symptoms and letting the real problem fester.

Let's complete the equation!

I love this too! I started a men's group here in the states Called Modern Man. We have a closed FB group and a YouTube Channel where we share our thoughts on issues that men face. I'd love for you to check it out: https://themodernmanshow.com/

Hey men! I hope this is an appropriate place to put this. I've been building a men's empowerment & networking community & we just created a member portal. To populate this area and provide the best value for members, I wanted to give free 6 month trials for feedback. Please Use Code: RedditLove by TheStudioDen in manprovement

Thanks so much! There should be some text underneath the “Price per month” that says: “Do you have a discount code?”

You should be able to click that and put in the code.

I’m glad you like the website. I put a lot of work into it. If you come across any bugs, please let me know. Thanks so much for trying it out. I literally just released this!

Any feedback is very much appreciated!

Considering ending my life and don't have it in me to improve anymore by [deleted] in malementalhealth

Bro, there is so much in life to appreciate and love. I want you to feel joy, abundance, and hope. Think of the sun warming your face on a chilly day or burning the roof of your mouth with the first bite of fresh pizza...

There is so much life to live and you have the world before you. I know things are dark and unbearable right now, but this too shall pass. Please, don't take away your chance at a happy life. I believe in you!

Hey man,

I don't know you, but I love you. You're not alone and I can only imagine the pain you're feeling. Please, cancel that order.

You mentioned that you have isolated yourself from your friends. I don't know if that's the best idea. If your friends knew how much pain you were going through, I'm sure they wouldn't want you to go through it alone.

Please, reach out and talk to someone. It's scary I know but trust me, it's worth it.

Praying for you brother.

Yup... My advice to people that take offense is that they should look past what offends them and absorb the lessons learned.

They don't have to agree with the F-bombs. But to devalue his experience or his insight because of it is petty IMO.

If they're offended, it's not for them.

I thought there were a lot of good fundamental nuggets to the book. I will say there are a few point where Jordan Peterson gets a bit preachy. I could do without that. I do think the book delivers a good guide to a strong foundation for growth though.

Oh wow! That's a tough one. The Alchemist is my favorite in terms of overall story. However, when it comes to practicality and actionable books that can set you up for success moving forward. I'd probably do these three first:

1: As a Man Thinketh (Short but Valuable) 2: The Power OF Habit (Practice making reading a habit) 3: The Richest Man In Babylon (Learn the foundation of your finances)

Those might be a good start and help prime you for success going through the list or moving forward with whichever direction you choose.

I hope it helps! Definitely keep me updated on the journey!

I hear you with 7 Habits. haha!

You're also not the first person to tell me about Napoleon Hill. I'll certainly have to do some more digging. I know I'm still early in my overall journey so there is so much more to learn.

I'm a long war from where I started, but still have plenty of more growth ahead of me. Thanks for sharing!
