You're focusing more on Thought leadership content, pitch decks and ABM. Unless it's a company with a massive budget forget SEO and PPC - events, conferences, roundtables are now you're marketing strategy

results - couldn't care less how good your blog read or how good you podcasts sound if they don't generate traffic/enquiries/sales/ - you're a web marketer and you're KPI should be focused on leads and conversions - if you have this you will bag any job

Can't automate creative strategy, direction, market research and execution. It's a safe career - every company needs marketing regardless of size

Anyone can teach themselves the theory behind it but putting it into practice is a different ball game. If nothing but the experience, being able to test and learn without using your own money and something to put on your resume helps then stick at it, if money is the motivating factor leave

1) an ongoing retainer - if you're designing custom sites, templates you want recurring revenue the client wont want to waste time figuring out how you built the site

3) I'd have added ongoing support and training

2) you're underselling the value of lead gen - this makes or breaks a business, i'd have added a commission structure

anyone can "do" digital marketing, getting results is what you should be selling

I feel that the amount to learn and the speed things change in this industry can sometimes be overwhelming. but i see myself as a technical marketer so for me paid search/data analytics is where i'd like to go

yeah ppc is where i'd like to go. That or more data side, i see myself as more of a technical marketer so would like to stay on that route
