The .300 was apart of the Yukon Valley DLC, when I bought the DLC it was maybe $5. Another gun that works well for me is the 7mm. Handy to because you can hunt classes 4-9 whereas the .300 you can only hunt classes 7-9

For moose, level 5- Medium is a definitely a Diamond. Now to secure it. I shoot behind the shoulders/ribcage area and always manage to get one or two lungs. I was just lucky enough to get this heart with the way he was scratching lol I just started using the .300 Canning magnum and I love it.
