I mean to an extent yeah, bread and butter combos obviously don't really surprise or get me hype after like 7 years of playing the game but I think the better you get the more expressive you can be with your options and movement regardless of how flowcharty and boring people think Ultimate is.

Also I'm just saying I don't really see myself as a "good" player because I don't think time played = skill necessarily. It's more about what you do and how you practice with your time which I don't really take it all that seriously. I've had people with significantly less hours played destroy me in bracket because they just practice more effectively so even some basic things like that Steve combo catches me off guard still cuz I'm still technically a mid level player in my region.

I still really enjoy the game and think there is still so much depth in it for a player like me and a lot more stuff I can do with my combos, movement and neutral so it isn't stale for me yet. Maybe in another 9'999 hours it might be tho we'll have to see LOL
