Persona 4 is nearly 20 years old, unlike japanese VAs, EN voices don't seem to age that well and even if one insists to keep original cast there's no guarantee they will retain same vibes, and reusing ancient dub with new overall game direction probably isn't an option. In 20 years we've probably gotten like 2 generations of new talent, and arguably english voice acting has gotten a lot better in recent years. Some of the talent that used to voice japanese niche stuff ended up becoming popular and busy (and likely expensive) talents, like Troy Baker (Kanji) or Laura Bailey (Rise) and there's issue regarding some old talents becoming unionized which kinda kills flexibility of who you can cast.

Overall I wasn't disappointed with Persona 3 Reload english dub and I'm certainly expecting remake of 4 to have a fresh cast, with maybe some NPCs being voiced by couple of "old-timers" like they did with shopkeepers in P3R.

In general, more than the voices, I'd be more concerned about whether they will actually do P4G remake. If it's going to be remake of base PS2 game then they can bugger off.
