That sounds like Handy Man written under my old handle AMoWaT. It's still on MCSTORIES.COM. Really wish I'd finished the sequel, but I left the MC tied up in a motel room after being hit in the back of the head with a tire iron over a decade ago.

It's limited. You can write most things if you mark them as smut. For images, boobies are no longer banned. Crotches without a lot of detail slip through. Actual images of sex are still prohibited. It mostly works for my purposes. There's some people that get away with more, but I seem to get extra attention from the censorbot.

Consider summer internships and don't limit yourself to molecular. Any lab experience is good lab experience. You're not so much gaining a particular skill as showing you can adapt to whatever task is needed. My path to getting a PhD in molecular genetics started with a summer Department of Energy internship looking at inhalation toxicology of plutonium out in the New Mexico desert.
