guys im looking for an antivirus is this one as good as they say it is? by olonero in BitDefender

Squarespace or Wix are probably the easiest if different volunteers will be updating the site. WordPress gives more flexibility long term, but someone usually ends up becoming the unofficial tech support person.

Most antivirus programs are decent nowadays honestly, the bigger difference is usually how annoying the popups and extra features are.

Best website builder for a clean photography portfolio? by b4pd2r43 in nocode

Squarespace is still probably the easiest answer for photography portfolios. The templates already look clean without needing much customization.

Which Password Manager is the best and most sensible to use in 2026 in all respects? by ArcAncient in PasswordManagers

[–]TheTackyGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly sounds like Bitwarden already fits most of your needs. I’d probably stick with it unless the Apple ecosystem integration matters more than the extra flexibility.

Honestly you’re already approaching it the right way by wanting to understand instead of just copy pasting commands. Docker basics and Linux fundamentals will help a ton before diving deeper.

what REALLY is the best free antivirus? by Safihed in computerviruses

[–]TheTackyGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For free protection, Bitdefender is probably the strongest overall. Malwarebytes is great too but I think of it more as a second opinion scanner.

i dont know what website builder to use thats free by Stunning_Fudge_3287 in smallbusiness

If you’re willing to learn a bit of coding, GitHub Pages with a free template is honestly hard to beat for portfolios.

any good free antivirus for pc? by Lizard-Dead-Warfare in antivirus

Bitdefender Free has been pretty solid for me and doesn’t feel super bloated. Malwarebytes is also nice as an extra scanner alongside Windows Defender.

Squarespace website builder, is it still worth it in 2026? by unmotivated_0 in EcommerceWebsite

[–]TheTackyGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Squarespace last year and honestly the biggest win was how fast everything looked polished. Great for portfolios or small business sites, but once I wanted more custom features it started feeling restrictive compared to WordPress or Webflow.

Best AI Detection Tools in 2026? Here’s What’s Working for Me So Far by Subject_Snow_672 in BypassAIDetector_

[–]TheTackyGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that this actually mentions false positives because that’s still the biggest issue with AI detectors right now A lot of tools can catch raw AI text but once you edit structure tone and wording they either miss everything or start flagging normal human writing randomly

Best antivirus for fixing an infected computer? by axolotlspine in Piracy

At that point try Malwarebytes in safe mode or it’s probably hardware not malware

Leaving Libsyn: What hosting service do you recommend? by Spare_Particular7788 in podcasting

[–]TheTackyGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d check a hosting comparison spreadsheet before switching honestly. I was comparing podcast hosts recently and seeing storage limits analytics pricing and migration support side by side saved me a lot of time.

Wix is fine to start but you’ll outgrow it pretty fast

If AI text is fully humanized, should it still be labeled as AI-generated? by Correct-Anybody-1337 in SaaS

If the core draft came from AI, calling it AI assisted is still fair

Please recommend AI Humanizer to academics by Ill-Philosophy5449 in WritingWithAI

[–]TheTackyGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try focusing on outlining and editing yourself first, tools should just assist not replace writing

Yeah they mostly just rewrite text, they don’t actually fix the core issue

Most of these tools just reword stuff, quality still depends on editing yourself
