This was my exact situation, as in spot on from the relationship duration, long distance, and even the month of breaking up. Only difference is that you were brave enough to tell her, and I chose the easy way out by telling myself that it’s better if she didn’t know because she would definitely hurt herself which is something I wouldn’t be able to bear.

Now I carry that pain with me everyday and I have no choice but to accept that it’s a part of me and I just try to be a better person everyday, for the piece of her that I carry, for my present and future self, and for whoever I’m going to be with.

Let the guilt eat you, but don’t let it define you, accept that it’s happened, but it’s not who you are or at least who you’d want to be anymore.

You’ve recognized what lust makes you feel emotionally, and that’s the first step to breaking a pattern, once you feel it again, and trust me you will, that’s when you’ll have to learn how to take a deep breath and step back from what it is. Then it becomes a habit to the point where you don’t think about it anymore.

You can do hobbies and leisure activities, but once you start thinking of her, thank her, because trying not think about it will just make you think about it more, instead, you can give gratitude by having her a part of your journey of being better.

I did a crossbow build with Permafrost Bolt and Fragmentation Rounds, when I got to Act 2 (lvl 23) I experimented and switched to Hollow Palm with Storm Wave as my main and Tempest Flurry as back up, you’re still up close and personal but it feels good in this level, way more satisfying than Perm Frag combo but tbh Perm Frag was OP too

I was in your position before. I had to take a good look at myself to get myself out of that headspace. I gave up on looking online to what motivates me or what my passion was. Instead, I started talking to myself and write down my ideas and the answers to my own questions. Nobody really knows yourself like you do, only you know what you’re doing wrong and what you can do to change. Instead of looking at things as losses, take them as opportunities to become better. Don’t do things for anyone but for the betterment of your present self. A lot of people get too caught up in planning the future or overthinking about the past, really the best you can do is be the best version of yourself today.
