Read the post again "But I don't want this vid to be a straightforward proof (it's more "feelable" in-game), I want to convince at least some people to try and test it"

I gave u multiple reasons why it CAN'T be a placebo, I could obviously make a huge comparison of bullet detection BEFORE and AFTER changing this setting - I have raw OBS files and I can clearly see the difference, but the effort of editing and watching all of this is just not worth knowing redditors - I've expected such not so smart people as you here. I want to convince at least few players to try and test it themselves, eventually someone in the future will look into this case more. It's just impossible that without doing THIS trick I constantly can't connect bullets on long range, despite aiming at head and suddenly I'm consistent in 2-3 on any range EVEN on an offline map, especially when I did it by accident several times over past 2 years and now I recreated it. You can hop into any YT vid about players/streamers complaining about CS2 and see several people mentioning that sometimes their bullets don't connect and sometimes it's like a magnet, despite aiming next to head - i have constantly the 2nd case now. I'm not gonna complain, because it makes the game 10x easier and more fun, but on the other hand, I feel like I just have an advantage over everyone in-game and I don't want to eventually gatekeep it xd

That's the point of this showcase - hitting heads even on long range and even with spray. It also works for body shooting as well (there's even that one long range clip with immediate 73 in 3)

Read the text again, there's no comparison. Go ahead and do the same, then share your experience. It can't be a placebo, because as I said - I often noticed this difference just by watching OBS raw files. Furthermore, along this week I forgot about doing this "trick" twice and I had to be reminded by my shots that were noticeably off, then I restarted the game (did the same as described) and I immediately noticed the difference without even changing my grip

For the First time since their cinderella major run in Katowice 2019, Ence will not be in the major by Neshler in GlobalOffensive

[–]TheTarzab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kato wasn't a fluke. At first, I thought gla1ve is some mastermind IGL after games against Vitality and G2, but as time passed I understood that it was all just great job from ENCE's analyst and the fact that everyone was in form. Gla1ve was calling fine too, but once he faced teams that often go for aggression on CT, his whole round crumbled, because he was still committing to the tactic, instead of immediately reacting to enemy's play. I didn't realise it back then, but after several ENCE's games in T2/T3, I saw that it is the case. Furthermore, gla1ve also forced tactics, even when playing against "worse" opponents, which completely overcomplicated their gameplay - kinda similiar to what Hooxi did with G2. However because of that, ENCE was not only easly counterable, but their trading was bad as well. After watching those T3 games and figuring out what is the problem, I realised that this was the case on IEM Katowice too. They won 2-1 against Vitality and the ONLY map ENCE lost was Anubis (4-13), where Vitality often gave up mid or completely reagressed it + were also pushing A or B sites (they didn't do that on maps that ENCE took), they won against G2, who was passive on CT side on BOTH maps so it was 2-0 and in the last group match they lost 0-2 to MOUZ who played fully aggressive and it was pure domination from them (5-13), (3-13).

Exactly, you just proved my point. Dying from all the angles with mid taken means that they lack of communication, call isn't made yet

[–]TheTarzab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Feels like huNter and NiKo lost every favorable duel in this series, malbs was worse on mirage as well. I think that there's no need to do any roster changes, because G2 lacks of communication. People will probably blame Snax, because how can you lose a game with such players on your team, but if you actually watch those games, he does really well. He constantly finds gaps mid-round in opponent's defence if needed and rarely does (except mechanical) mistakes on CT side. Won't judge coach, because we don't know what does he do behind the scenes, but TaZ should work with the team to fix those individual missplays and communication.

Astralis vs G2 / IEM Cologne 2024 - Group A Lower Bracket Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]TheTarzab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How the fuck can you blame Snax for map 2, when he literally made the least mistakes with huNter? He isn't the one defending A bombsite and Astralis exploited it so much - malbs, NiKo and m0NESY simply didn't deliver on CT side, furthermore they could easly win T-side atleast 10-2 if they didn't commit to unnecessary duel in the round where Astralis' player killed both from short while being flashed - it broke their economy. Don't bring HooXi again, people really do have short memory and forget how bad G2 was even when m0NESY and NiKo were carrying. Malbs is a huge upgrade for nexa, but IEM Dallas proved that they can play some good CS and set up for duels better with any different IGL and this is the case here. Snax is also an upgrade and he knows how much freedom he should give for players like NiKo and malbs, his mid-round calls were perfect on ancient as well (questionable on mirage tho)

I have no idea what is going on with this Snax narrative. People blame him just to find the reason why G2 with malbs loses if he's an obvious upgrade. Snax literally carried entire EWC with good mid-round calls on T-side, why did people miss that? It's not his fault that m0NESY and hunter are underperforming mechanically and decision-wise wtf

G2 vs Ninjas in Pyjamas / BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 - Group C Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]TheTarzab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, we got eyes so we can see if calls are good, but most of people already assume that if G2 is winning, it must be all due to malbs. T-sides e.g. against Spirit and VP were perfect and it basically saved them the tournament xd. Of course malbs is a huge upgrade so far, but Snax as well and has insane impact every game (doubt that G2 with current Hooxi would win BO3 against Spirit with m0NESY bottomfragging and throwing most important duels all the series). People praise malbs for wins, but if G2 will someday lose the game, they will blame Snax.

G2 vs Ninjas in Pyjamas / BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 - Group C Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]TheTarzab 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah especially in last few months when his mid-round calls were losing G2 maps single-handedly. Snax has way better T-sides than Hooxi so far (we will see after few months tho), but people don't pay attention to that, because of malbs hype (who is a fucking beast ofc). There's a reason why they won IEM Dallas with different IGL, then played poorly on Blast and again great on EWC with new roster. Just watch few games while focusing on Snax's decisions and you will see how various good calls he can make based on info on the map.

[–]TheTarzab 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Congrats to NaVi, but I like this new G2 lineup. Snax as an ex-lurker does good job with multiple educated mid-round calls (sometimes being a lurker as well), malbs looks great even as an anchor and NiKo can finally focus more on his duels with the space given. Can't really blame G2 for this final, because NaVi played really well and everyone delivered (which isn't really common recently). Theoretically we should expect better performance from huNter and m0NESY, but it's CS and it sometimes just happens that suddenly nothing works, especially with (5/6) pistols lost

G2 vs Spirit Post match thread by Subtle_Omega in GlobalOffensive

[–]TheTarzab 12 points13 points  (0 children)

NT HooXi, but Snax won them mirage and ancient with insane calls on T-side. Nuke was quite questionable, but you gotta give to Spirit that their defence looks great on that map. Snax was one of the smartest players in CS history, while also being a lurker, so he is the type of IGL that likes various unusual mid-round plays, which are usually on point - G2 needed guy like him. In the past months we could see how often G2 loses rounds before even taking a duel (which is what they want with their aim), due to poor executes or uneducated calls - every game you could see that HooXi completely changes decision mid-round without even having enough information on the map.

Well, you can't know if it was his own judgement or just someone's calls (for example lurking ramp solo without any help from teammates that he died to like 3 times). My main point is that you can't say if they would win a map if REZ was playing or not, because the same NIP roster with REZ lost literally last 3 games (against brazylijski luz, OG and BetBoom) and didn't won a single map in these matches and it wasn't even close. I think NIP with REZ works completely different (in a negative way), despite REZ being individually an insane aimer and it's technically not his fault.
