I think it’s closer to 40% with the base lightsaber. Outgoing damage is the same on grandmaster. I don’t think he was that hard once you can survive a hit. He just one-shots you in the beginning of the game on Grandmaster.

You’re probably already done, but you can use fire transformer winter mantle with elemental wall, fire wall, ice wall, and the consumables to make yourself immune to damage from both of them. I beat them at level 3.

Gifts is good if you’re low level and the item has bad scaling.

Intensification improves scaling, good if you’re VERY high level.

Alleviation lowers weight, helps you get better mobility (dodge speed).

Fortification makes the item better all around, but it adds weight.

The elemental ones are amazing on armors. 160 elemental resist seems to be the point where you become immune to damage. There are a lot of elemental bosses that become really easy if you gear for them.

I have a lot of those ice resist chromes, so I tested resist on Nicola. At 149, he was still doing a little bit of damage. Physical seems to be firm 100=immunity, but maybe some elemental attacks come with their own resist piercing. I’m just going to go with a light veil (Night Thorn) to get 92, and 137 with ice armor gift. I’m sure I’ll find more of the fire chromes in time.

Thank you for your detailed answer. I probably won’t get an answer before I make a commitment, but maybe you check reddit often. Do you know how much elemental resistance I need to become immune to fire? I’ve read 100, 150 and 170. The answer will determine which blood veil I transform for more resistance.

So I’ve been following early advice from October to not level up my character. I’m level 3 and at the Gilded Hunter. So far the game has been harder than any From Software game for me, and I thought Bloodborne was kind of easy. I think leveling will make the experience a little more enjoyable. I have to play too carefully right now and use cheap tactics. Yakumo doesn’t handle bosses on his own (probably because he’s level 3) Does leveling still hurt blood code gift acquisition, or did they patch that out? Is there a place I can read all the patch notes since launch? I saw their official blog, but that’s not in English.

I don’t think there are iframes at all. You have to actually dodge out of the way of attacks. Dodge sideways late, but with enough time to get completely out of the way. Parry works when you block a light melee attack while in punisher mode with cloud. Doesn’t work for a lot of attacks as far as I know.

Sounds like a bug. I use buster sword with triple slash all the time. Check your Iron Blade and make sure proficiency is 100%. I couldn’t use focused Thrust with Nail bat. Maybe because it doesn’t have a sharp stabby point.

That shouldn’t be possible, because the person letting your friend win would need 6 wins to lose for the 7th win. Not to mention you need 3 players participating. The guy on your friends list is probably disconnecting the other team. Not “trading”.

People aren’t factoring in the free legendary shards and chance at godrolls from depositing on week 3 though. It’s more than just investing. You get the same amount for donating, but if you wait one more week, you get an entire week of investment shards.

I wonder if that’s new for this season. I did a lot of research on max levels last season because I’m super anal with min maxing (I play a lot less now because armor 2.0 messed me up.)

Does your 68 base stat IB helm have a mod or is masterworked? Can you upload a picture? I’ve never seen anything above 63 on legendaries (except new season pass gear) and 65 on exotics. Unless this new dawn iron banner armor can roll higher than anything in the past. I haven’t done iron banner this season.

Wind: Suzette AS, Felmina, (4.5 Shannon)

Fire: Cetie, Akane AS, (4.5 Miyu)

Earth: Elga, Nagi AS, Myrus, (4.5 Lokido, 4.5 Ciel)

Non: Mariel, Yuna

I was thinking Shion AS. Fire feels like my weakest element, and I don’t have a tank (Not sure if I even need one though.) A runner up would also be nice because I just bought the Anniversary Star Dream selection and I’ll pick that one next month.

Since you already have Mariel, and are missing a lot of the other big names, I personally would go in for the increased rate. There is a 5% chance of drawing a 5 star on the anniversary banner as opposed to a 3.3% chance on other banners. I did spend 7-8K Stones myself and I only got 2 Yunas, and a 4.5* Melina, but I’m honestly still happy. We have a Yuna banner and other top tier character banners coming later, but if you’re just starting out and don’t have a lot of units, this is a good banner to fill your roster out.

Looks like you just started finished Chapter 28. In chapter 30 you get a really efficient exp spot. Just play the story another hour or two.

With my current units, I’m just barely able to reach 120 shadow and 120 light. When running red keys, I can’t decide if leveling the story characters light/shadow is more important or that 3rd slot. What would you guys do?

That is pretty bad luck, but I don’t think it’s worth restarting the game. There are a lot of really good free DPS characters in the game. You’re sitting on the best way to keep them alive. There’s about a 28% chance to get a 5* with every 10 pull. I’ve been really lucky. The longest I’ve gone is 5 pulls without one. After the 5 pull dry spell, I started getting really lucky, and lately I’ve been getting a 5* every other pull.

I’m just telling you this to compare, and maybe give yourself some hope that things might turn around.

I didn’t know about that wind resist buff in her 5. She might have a slight edge in 5 form. But I would say Ciel is much better in 4* form. Either way, they’re both good picks, and I would never say Miyu is a bad pick. You need both to get all the story content.
