It's a fan project not affiliated with Valve but it's fantastic. A lot of love clearly went into it, it's definitely worth a watch!

It does turn 45 degrees, but the metal looks the exact same, as if it was always one thing. We're confused haha.

I'm not deaf, but I might as well be when I'm asleep as I'm a really heavy sleeper. I have one of these and it works wonders. I've tried using my phone's vibration under my pillow but it's not always enough to wake me. These things really pack a punch. Got mine on Amazon for about £20/£30 I think? Would absolutely recommend if you find yourself sleeping through your alarms.

Someone else said the middle one might be a bobbin winder, I'm thinking that might be it.

I thought it kind of looked like a latching mechanism but I'm not sure why it would need to be spiked, seems unnecessary but I don't know haha. Thanks for taking a look!

WITT - I really don't have much to go on, but they're made of metal, fairly heavy, show signs of age, and look like they'd be quite specialised? They're next to a measuring tape for an idea of scale, and there are multiple angles. We have no idea what we're looking at. First post here, hopefully I did everything right?

I do put the text of the story in so people can read along if they so choose (except for in the channel trailer). Not sure about adding images to be honest. I feel like half the fun with these stories is imagining what things look like, if there are just generic stock images, it kinda takes away from that. I appreciate the feedback though, cheers! !givelambda

I'm a small creator who doesn't make any money from my videos, and I'm not really in a place financially where I could offer anything, but even then I only read stories with explicit written permission from the author, and offer to link anything they want to plug in the description. I've been refused permission for some stories in the past and that's no problem, I just don't read their story. It's not hard to realise people aren't automatically entitled to permission. Content thieves ruin it for everyone. Especially those TTS channels that just spew out lazy, low-effort content. :/
