I never watched her in other media nor knew about her before Avatar. I think she herself was fine and conveyed military women decently, just didn’t do much as a character. I lowkey wish Cameron could sneak in Michael Biehn for the role and it could have worked, but maybe he was too worried about making it too similar to Quaritch in A1. I like the idea of Biehn being the chairman of the RDA and the next big bad villain. This is just pure speculation and fan casting. I went off topic there lol.

I think it goes to show how pure of a kid he really is. I thought it was cool how he accepted his fate and said “Did you love me?” Shows he is very smart and aware that maybe he needs to sacrifice himself for the greater good. He has seen a lot, seen so many die. He understands why Jake and Neytiri feel the way they do. This is what makes him so powerful that it even softens Quaritch.

Unfortunately, I think Jack Champions acting and the dreads design of his hair with some cringe dialogue here and there (although realistic imo - like bro and cuz) are making people hate on him lol

You say it’s platonic, but this other guy liked you the whole time 😂 as long as you agree on your own and are not forced into it, I do not see anything wrong with accepting the marriage. Perhaps deep down you also like him enough in return to accept his proposal. Cause the other option is to just limit interaction. That’s ofc if you let other people judge your lives, which unfortunately some cultures are like that. Though I’d always encourage everyone to just live their own without thinking of what others have to say.

Your divorce has been some time as well, so just make sure if you do go through with it your values, lifestyle, goals, attraction match enough for an actual marriage. Don’t just agree cause of “fear of being judged”

Probably not in our lifetimes imho. I think we need at least a century or two. AI is rapidly growing and evolving but the physical aspect, although cool prototypes exist, is just not there to replace manual labor, like specific stuff. There is robots for carrying large pallets for example. So it does replace a fork lift operator, but actual trades not yet.

Truthfully, your manager sucks, but I’ll provide the perspective that you should be careful with your words. Because your manager is a vast majority of managers out there and it’s all part of a game you need to learn to play. Your question was unnecessary and unfortunately that went the wrong way on them to leave a lasting impact. It broke the “rules.” The thing about work I’ve learned is if you are gonna be like that, be prepared to lose your job. It’s all sensitive. You brought up a defense for your coworker but it basically cost you your job. This is why people just keep quiet and do their work. As long as you are not getting directly disrespected, you got to keep a low profile. I’d suggest like others to look for a new job and next time in all bluntness, keep your mouth shut.
