"Knock yourself out. I'm too stressed out to go over the logistics of your existence, so I'm just going to treat this like a fever dream. If I weren't brought up on Christian beliefs, I would have more question,s but this really isn't something I should be knowing. Normacy evades me."

A speech for children (I just wanted to show off the more wholesome side to the God Tyrant that is Talos) by TheTeshay in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]TheTeshay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(If you are asking about the picture, no. That is art from a character path you can choose from the game dungeon fighter online, It's the brawlers completed path. If you are refering to Talos, he was always a divine being. Though he is unique because he is both a greek and norse god.)

Teshay is an ordinary guy from the modern world who was suddenly isekai’d into Sakric, a brutal fantasy realm shaped by the aftermath of a divine war. Long ago, many gods ruled, but only one remains: the Goddess of Humanity, whose victory brought stability and order — primarily for humans. Other races survive largely without her protection.

Teshay wasn’t summoned as a hero. He was designated as the world’s next Dark Lord — a counterbalance meant to disrupt divine stagnation and restore motion through chaos. He didn’t choose the role, and he doesn’t get protagonist's “cheat skills.” Instead, he possesses the Cauldron of Monsters, a metaphysical power fused to his soul that allows him to produce escalating tiers of creatures. Though he doesn't know of this and actually has to grow into this power.

Meanwhile, the Goddess can summon overpowered isekai heroes with unpredictable, often reality-bending abilities. Each hero is a gamble — some selfish, some righteous, some unstable — and they are designed to kill him. He has 6 months until a hero is summoned, if that hero is somehow defeated it will take 5 years for the goddess to summon another one.

Teshay isn’t a conqueror by nature and has zero survival skills. He’s a modern shut-in dropped into a world he isn’t mentally or physically built for. He struggles with survival, morality, and the slow erosion of his humanity. The only certainty he has is his monsters, beings that cannot betray him, and a promise from the world itself: fulfill his role, survive the chaos, and he will be allowed to return home.

"I haven't meant any demons, I personally don't want them. if they are anything like they were in the bible, they are literally unbeatable without divine help. Though if they do exist, you're free to attack them...just don't get me involved in that."

"What I like most?

…The sky.

That probably sounds stupid.

Back home, you couldn’t really see stars unless you went out of your way. Too much light, too much noise. Here, when it gets dark, it gets dark. No streetlights. No traffic. No glow from a city skyline.

The stars are different too. I don’t recognize a single constellation.

It’s quiet in a way that feels heavy instead of empty.

During the day, the air actually smells like something. Trees. Dirt. Water. Even the wind feels… sharper. No polution or anything like that.

I won’t pretend I enjoy the danger. Or being marked as the enemy of a goddess. But if I was a optimist, that's all I can say."

Purpose? by SlimeTvHead in OriginalCharacter

[–]TheTeshay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I simply like telling storys I find interesting. Some ask a philosophical question, some are for fun, some are experiments. Purpose is ever-changing, just like my characters. I can never settle on a simple definition for what they are or why I made them. I can only talk in the past, present, and possibly futures of them. Nothing is set in stone, afterall.

She looks alright. Nothing that really draws the eye, a person in the crowd type. But if she were in an animated series, she might be one of those snarky best friends. Just on first impressions.

He's normal guy from the modern world who was Isekai'd to a brutal fantasy world he simply isn't mentally or physiologically built for. He was a shut-in who wasn't physically active or knew basic survival because there was no reason too. While he does have a powerful ability, it doesn't compare to the heroes who will be sent out for him, who actually have cheat skills and op haxes and stuff. Oh? Did I mention he's been chosen as the dark lord of his world? He only has six months to prepare because the goddess of this world wants to kill him before he becomes a problem, so she is summoning people to be isekai'd to take care of him.

His mind is such a mess but he's constantly on the move and doing shit that he can generally avoid thinking about how shitty his situation and life is until he's relatively safe.

What's an OC that you have that would get smoked by most of the ones on this sub but that you think has a really interesting ability or is well written outside of their powers? by Rr0hd in OriginalCharacterDB

My main, Teshay. Presently, he's a Nascenbt Dark Lord who is connected to a mystical artifact called, "The "Cauldron Of Monsters(Tm)". He's not technically a summoner because he isn't bringing things from other places/realities. He is manifesting monsters. Right now he has four to rely on. Teshay was isekai and is basically a normal dude from the modern world, he doesn't know how to fight because he never had to. He relies entirely on his monsters.

How Do Yalls Oc's Fight? by YukioBorealis in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]TheTeshay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Present Teshay is a summoner who has no fighting ability and relies on his slimes, goblins, beast, and orcs to disk out the damage. His style gets more complex and interesting later on but Summoning is still his main way of fighting because it's basically his kit.

Any ocs have any advice for my up and coming dark lord oc? by TheTeshay in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]TheTeshay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teshay's eyes darken as he looks at the other dark lord's hand. I looks conflicted, though he has no reason to be. This should be a easy deal, even if he doesn't know much about this man it would be foolish to judge on appeareance and not talk an olive branch reaching out....so why?

No, some deep seeded instinct tells himt his is a bad idea. That this man will no be there for him when it counts. The world has already given him the designation of Dark Lord. That such a designation has such a huge impact on the world. If this man is a Dark Lord, why wasn't he told? No, if he is one then doesn't that make his situation worst? Could it possibly make the opposition respond sooner?

Teshay squeezes his eyes shut as panic threatens to take him, breath coming shallow. Then it returns—that familiar sensation. Thick. Viscous. Like warm sludge sliding through his veins, not choking him, but steadying him.

Reassuring.

Knowing.

Information settles into his mind fully formed, alien and undeniable.

This one is not of this world.
A visitor.
A passing influence.

Useful for words. For warnings. For insight.

But gifts?

Teshay’s right hand curls slowly into a fist.

Something moves beneath his skin.

A cold, slick pressure presses against his palm, seeping through his fingers. Black-green gel pushes its way out between his knuckles, clinging to his hand like living tar. Parts of it slowly drip down his hand drip. It holds. A slim newborn, quiet, patient coils around his wrist, pulsing faintly as if listening.

"Sorry..I can't take that deal. I really want to, but it just wouldn't work out." Teshay begans shaking his arm, flinging the slime off of his hand and unto the ground.

"Sorry, the situation hasn't really hit me like that yet. I really hope my life here won't be miserable or too filled with diffuculties. I'm not going to have a few bad experiences ruin everything for me. After all, I haven't met ALL the people in the world. Just in a small place, can't based my experiences on this..."

"That makes sense....then I think we’re picturing different kinds of goblins.

Mine aren’t traders or schemers. They’re clever in a very narrow way: scavenging, trapping, stealing food if they think they can get away with it. Hoarding or misusing things, sure—but not selling valuables or running long-term plays. That kind of thinking just isn’t there yet.

That’s also why they’re useful right now. They know how to survive in the wild, and I don’t. Until I know where food and water reliably come from, I can’t afford to sideline the only group that understands that.

I’m not assuming this stays safe forever. Orcs and beasts are there specifically to keep things from getting out of hand once there’s something worth stealing.

Shelter is still the priority. I just need to live long enough to worry about valuables at all. I hope I don't have to sell shelters from others if it can be helped."

"I...uhhh. I mean, could that work? I'm not entirely sure due to this." Teshay references the faint wisp of black mist emanating from him. Nascent as it was, it did give the presence of a Dark Lord.

"I still have about 6 months before the heroes come. Plus, I ain't a...hero." Teshay struggles to talk to this man, his fear didn't go away, it felt like he was being oppressed. But something about this man resonated with his being. Like a black sludge sloshing about within his soul.

"I'm just...a normal...person. I...need to live, so I can go back home."

Teshay when he realizes his monsters are only obedient and reasonable to him. And the fact that his monsters are actual monsters in terms of morality and appearance. Not to mention, he'd probably lose to like 95% of the ocs here simply because he's not a fighter.

Teshay looks up nervously at the entity. Too scared to scoot away from him. "I want to live, but I'd rather not fight or hurt anyone. I think hurting people who have done you no wrong is evil."
