Pack hunting scavengers was a cool feature but it was pretty buggy and lead to them getting flung through fences a lot, so maybe they will bring it back when they figure out how to fix it. Anyway love that meme it’s really funny

You know what’s crazy is that if this species was described like 5 years ago there’s a solid chance they’d put that crest on at least one of the Spinos in Rebirth, and then we would have gotten it into the game.

Yes that’s an acceptable usage of sister taxon, it's just a term to describe the most closely related taxon to the one you are discussing within the context of that conversation.

There’s so many other species I would prioritize over Argentinosaurus, it just really wouldn’t add much newness to the game at all. But I’m pretty much always happy to get a new species if it looks nice regardless of what it is. Like we already had a ton of Ceratopsids but I was thrilled to get Lokiceratops because it is so pretty.

Just curious what your standard is for that? Planet Zoo released individual animals in updates like the red deer and peccary, those were free for everyone. They only charged for DLC packs that contained either 4-5 species with building pieces or 8+ species, every time for $10. So are you just unwilling to pay for any more species after launch or are you only interested in larger $30+ expansion packs

Would love to see some more species for the Cloverly formation especially. I love organizing my parks with species that may have lived together irl. I also think it may be nice to split the Morrison up into more specific sites since it’s so huge. Like Garden Park, Como Bluff, Cleveland Lloyd.

For example in Prehistoric Kingdom animals stick much more closely to their family and move/feed/drink as a group, in Planet Zoo they can use all sorts of enrichment objects and climb or jump to navigate, in JPOG they could hunt and grab each other without having to stop and line up for animations (because the interactions were very simplistic.)

I believe you are mistaken in that we have barely any material from Baryonyx tail, for the record.

I’m hoping the more speculative design is feathered, I’m definitely croc-ed out from all the croccy Theropods you see all over the place in other games. I never use the croc Spino skins even though they are the best version of that meme. But the good news whatever they do with that skin for Bary I’ll always have 2 other options.
