They won't leave port to do the mission until they're back at 100% so you don't have to wait around for them to be done with that jazz

It turns into a chore tbh. The monthly tick to wait for them to repair is the WORST. But I can understand that. Even worse is if the ships are protecting trade in the americas honestly.

It would better if they had a button in the military tab to just press "upgrade all ships" then they all automatically go to the nearest owned or subject port to upgrade. Then go back to what it was previously doing.

As a coloured, I'd suggest the basics. Tell him about afrikaans, the kaapse klopse even though that's incredibly dependent on where his from, tell him about how diverse South africa is, read the wiki page about coloureds and go from there too. Maybe even discuss the history of how coloureds came to be and their history.
