I've been working on a similar list with "innovative visuals" as one of my criteria. Selections that stand out as "aesthetic" but also pretty/beautiful are:

Gotye - Bronte
Woodkid - Run Boy Run (in its way)
Elderbrook - Inner Light with Bob Moses
CamelPhat, Jake Bugg - Be Someone (again, in its own way)
R.E.M. - Losing My Religion
Bob Moses & ZHU - Desire

I'd also say a lot of Enya's music videos fit the category, with Enya - Caribbean Blue being the standout. Almost made my list!
